Introducing Cameo Snack

Sits in the system tray and checks to see if a webcam is attached every 10 seconds (if a webcam is attached the light may turn on when being accesses). Shows a tooltip balloon with the info. The icon also changes if it is detached (has a red x on icon).

Give it a try!

To use, just unRAR and run CameoSnack.exe

Do you need it to run in the background or just run once and tell you if it is connected?  If run in the background, your webcam will be checked every 10 seconds and the light on the cam will turn  (if connected) on when it is being accessed. I will have a tray alert (balloon) letting you know if it was connected or disconnected.

Description
This was created as a request by nkormanik [ https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=36481.0 ] and I thought I would use it as my NANY submission. This moves (or copies) files from one folder to another in sub-folders allowing you to specify the number of files that will go into each sub-folder. You can sort by size, date, or file name.

For example: Folder c:\foo has 100 JPG files and you want to move those files into the folder C:\foo02 with 10 files in each sub-folder. When you run the process there will be 10 folders created c:\foo2\000, c:\foo2\001, c:\foo2\003, etc.) with 10 of the JPG files from the source folder.

Features
- Sort file to sub-folders by size, date, or file name.
- Optional renaming of files consecutively with prefix and/or suffix
- Optional prefix and/or suffix for folder names. Default is consecutive numbering (001, 002, 003 etc)

Planned Features
- TBD

Screenshots (http://i.imm.io/1k9Pg.png)

Installation and Usage
Just unrar and run File Groupie.exe

Known Issues
1.0.1.0 - There was a bug in processing files over 999

It's ready to try out!

http://cgs.vdsworld.com/click.php?id=64

Easy enough to use. Just run File Groupie.exe, select Source folder, Target Folder, Number of files per sub-folder, Command (Move or Copy), Sort By and press Run!

Also made it my NANY submission - https://www.donation...opic=36494.msg341524

It is working well. I just need to tweak a few things and I should have it ready for download either later today or tomorrow morning. :-)

Screenshot Captor / Color picker
« on: October 24, 2013, 02:54 PM »
Is there (or can there be a) color picker tool added to Screenshot Captor? I have looked and was unable to find a function for this in the software. I can make my own or find another, but just thought I would ask. :-)

Thanks!

EDIT: Never mind I see there is one after taking the shot.

Hmm. I'm not sure what is the cause. Is there any way you can give me an MP3 that has the problem so I can do some testing?

441
I made some changes, please download from here http://starpunch.blogspot.com/2013/08/start-volume.html and let me know if it is working again.

442

443

Not that I am defending Apple, but startup is not really a word in the dictionary, start-up is. So really it's not surprising that they (or anyone) would want to try and trademark it.

Made an update to CompTime. After using it a bit I wanted the time difference to be shown larger so I increased the text size for easier reading. I also created a post for it on my site. You can download the most current version here. http://starpunch.blogspot.com/2013/08/comptime.html

447
Thank you. I'm very happy you like it and it works the way (or better ;-) ) than you wanted! You are very welcome.

448
I didn't see your name on the original request. LOL  ;D

Sure I can do that, good idea.

I'll try to do that today..... DONE!

449
Here ya go. I hope it is what you requested. http://starpunch.blogspot.com/2013/08/comptime.html

Run CompTime.exe, drag and drop one file at a time (or browse for files) and the time difference will be automatically calculated and show in status bar at the botom of the window. You can keep changing the files by dropping or selecting and the difference will be automatically calculated each time. The time difference will be displayed in HH:MM:SS format only up to 24 hours difference in time.

Just to make sure I am clear, when you say absolute, you me how much time between the file dates in days, hours, etc., correct?
