Coding Snacks / Re: WebCam Detector
« on: December 10, 2013, 08:35 AM »
It should detect any type of webcam, but I do not have them all so I cannot test that. No it will not detect on other people's computers. I'm not ready to part with the source at this time.

402
 :D sure no problem!

Best way would be to use a Text Expander app. http://www.phraseexpress.com/  :)

404
Well. I just made a quick update. :-) If you put your cursor over the icon it will show how much time is left. It doesn't update as showing, will have to move your mouse and hover over again to see the updated time, but I think it works well.

Good ideas. I'll add to my list.  :D

406
Great! Sorry about all the problems.  :-[

Glad it worked!!!  :Thmbsup:

407
Yes sorry. I forgot to update the ini file in the .ZIP file... I have updated the .ZIP file and you can DL again.... Should have the extra info below in the .ini file...

#Parameters to pass to the exe
param=test.txt

408
Give it a try again. I added a parameter option to the ini file. See the included ini file for example.

Fingers crossed that this one works for you! :-)  :Thmbsup:

409
True, but I set my app to look at the whole string (yeah I should have thought about that) and use it to kill the task. So it is not killing right b/c of the parameter. I should be able to fix it easily. I'll get to it tomorrow and should have an update by the evening.

410
You run it with a parameter correct?  That might be why it's not killing it. Let me look at it again and I'll get back to you. I love a challenge.

411
I updated RunAndKill, please give it a try again.

Nicholas - I'll take a look at this and get back to you as soon as I can.

Ha. @4wd That is odd... I'll look into why it is seeing a webcam that is not there.

@CleverCat - I'm glad it's working for you!

Updated to 1.0.2.0

Fixed bug where it would not process files over 999 very well or at all. Added Abort button. All controls are disabled when processing (except Abort).

Please give this a try. http://cgs.vdsworld.com/click.php?id=64

Thanks
