Hi

IMHO SC should ask the above question (giving those 3 options) when you edited an image and then try to close the GUI or click a different image on the left side.

Would be great, if one could draw rectangles too, they are great for highlighting stuff IMHO.

You could copy most of the arrow options for that new option.

Does not work here I addd a frame that was too big - and Undo could do nothing... I tried to draw an arrow - Undo didn't work for that either...

Hi,

I wonder if you could change the color of the sticky topics in all the forums. Other forums use a slightly different style for those or use a divider to make clear that those are sticky ones.

I want to recommend http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ - IMHO it's the best BT (BitTorrent) client around! It's Java-based and works on Windows, Linux and Apple, see for yourself how Azureus compares to other BT clients: http://en.wikipedia....f_BitTorrent_clients

If you want to try it, please also read the great http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/ - if you can't find an answer for your problems there (unlikely ) there's even free live support in an IRC channel: http://azureus.aelit...m/wiki/index.php/IRC

The latest official version is 2.3.0.4, if you like you can use the http://azureus.aelit...m/wiki/index.php/CVS version with more features (I only use CVS versions).

Do *not* try it if your PC still only has 128 MB of RAM

Does anyone know of (or could anyone code) a small program that would reduce the number of icons in my system tray - I have seen a pay-for one (can't remember title), but wonder if there is a free one.  I know Windows does this natively, but I would love to be able to just select which icons would always be hidden, and show them again with a mouseclick.  Anybody know?

Hmm... either I'm extremely blind today (can't find it there!) or it is because you are a Charter Member.

I really just miss that option, I'm fine with using WWW for forums - that way it's easy to read older posts too without another app (newsreader).

Yes, I know, but other forums allow to set "always notify me of replies" ONCE in the personal options, from now on one can't forget to enable it... and yes, I *always* want a reply, I'm in too many forums to check all manually

b) in SC, click it and hit Ctrl-X
c) exit SC
d) open Windows Explorer and hit Ctrl-V

Result: doesn't work

Since it DOES work as long as you don't exit SC I believe it's a bug.

c) Save as... new file name

Result: the file will be saved but the OLD image would be reloaded! IMHO it should handle it like virtually all other programs handle it: save as new file and show just that.

What do you think?


P.S.: I love forums where you can set "Notify me of replies" to be enabled as default - not possible here though, right?

I just tried that option for the first time and was VERY confused, since the arrow wasn't drawn FROM start TO end but vice versa (pointing to the *starting* point)!? I'd understand it if this would be an Arabian program, could you fix that please?

if you make the screenshot captor window really small and close and restart - what happens?

This is strange: I just did what you suggested and NOW it does remember its size even when its bigger again!? So lets say it's fixed until it starts to act up again

One more thing though:

• when you use the "start minimized" option and then right-click the tray icon to "exit" SC will not be closed quietly but the GUI will show up for a very short moment - maybe you can prevent this?

Sure that

I uninstalled it and also removed the settings before installing it again. It's working much better, the only bugs I see now are these:

• when you rename a file in the left part of the window and hit enter the file will not longer be selected but the first file/folder in the save folder will - example: a) start SC b) capture 4 images c) in SC, click the third image and hit F2 to rename it d) rename it and hit ENTER e) now press the UP cursor because you want to rename the second file f) be surprised because the third file isn't active/highlighted anymore, but the first entry (parent folder in my case) is! (it should work exactly like in Windows Explorer or other programs IMHO)
• the program seems to have problems with the the new, great Google Sidebar, which I placed at the right side of the screen (see example image: http://img162.images...ugwithsidebar3hy.png - the Windows taskbar sits on the left side of the screen btw). I started SC and saw it was partly laying over the Sidebar - I reduced the width to NOT have it over the Sidebar anymore, did quit SC and restarted it - and it had the same (too big) size (see example image)...

I thought again about it... I think the code should not pause it for 60 seconds but make sure that one entry/stream URL isn't checked more than once a minute. That way one could set a) and b) to 20 seconds - for five streams it would mean >60 seconds delay for each stream.

• in the options you would set the interval of the title updates, like: a) wait X seconds before checking next stream and b) wait Y seconds before start with the first active stream again - minimum would be 60 seconds

Should be no problem... especially since I only listen to streams that NEVER reach there maximum listener capacity
