Living Room / Re: The Coffee/Caffeine Thread!
« on: June 14, 2013, 07:22 PM »
@Tinman57

ok, tried the Mocha Java - I had to order it..just because....

+1 for the flavor seal bag
+5 for the free sample of another coffee, did not expect it, but it was in the box when I opened it

It is more like medium dark roast coffee to me.
If you like dark roast, the Anniversary Blend from CBI (Coffee Bean International), is hard to beat.
And I have to warn you that it may spoil anyone that tries it.

Cool! Yes, seems CoffeeAM has a good selection, thanks. S&D's 2lb bags are not particularly great coffees but the prices are low enough so I can keep up my 2 pot a day habit. (It was 3, I've cut down) CBI is 5lb bags, some very good to excellent to choose from. S&D will send you samples if you like, which is great to see in this coffee business thing.

I'll have to check out some CoffeeAM selections, when my "pot" can handle it.

Here is a couple of places I get my coffee in bulk. I buy whole bean and not preground coffees, makes for a better fresher pot.
Coffee Bean International working out of Portland, Oregon and S&D Coffee out of Concord, North Carolina. Easily found on the net for phone numbers.

From CBI, I order their Anniversary Blend, the darkest roast they have.
minimum order-20lbs. Ground or whole bean. Must be a coffee retailer/reseller. Easy to do for me, when I started ordering, I owned a business. Any business name will work.

S&D supplies me with their Traditional Blend, European Select, and 100% Colombian.
Bulk or retail is fine with them, although I am their customer under a business name.
Available by the case with 10 2lb bags, 14oz bags or cases of 1.5oz bags that make 1 pot of coffee. Ground or whole bean.

I think the dark roast blends are even better then Hawaiian Kona or Jamaican Blue Mountain (the highest priced coffees I know of). Unless I can find these two in a dark roast, which is near impossible without special ordering. I'm just not up to $40 or more for a pound for coffee. I spend from $6 to $9 a pound.

I don't know about other countries, just my own, U.S.A.

Does this Skrommel software do the same thing?

https://www.donation...dex.html#DetachVideo

Or differently. I've used this little jewel off and on for a long time now.

When starting a new thread, for donation supported software, make a note that its supported by donations along with links for info and donations. And anything you might want to say about the author or authors. Even within a thread it should be noted.

With here being donationcoder, donationware certainly should be promoted.
 And donations encouraged.
I did not put it together till reading this thread.

will this help?

http://www.sevenforu...n-pane-turn-off.html

It's not a right click option and it will turn off the navigation pane for all folders.

Maybe option 2 could be added to the right click menu. It's a .reg file deal.

Finished Programs / Re: DONE: Sync folders by renaming files

I was thinking to suggest a sync program.
Or a cloud app like dropbox or box.

Note: This fundraiser is really a selfish thing for myself, and does not benefit the site so please don't consider this a big deal like our main fundraisers.. This is just me asking for a little personal help.

I'll update here the contributions received for the CodyMobile car fund so far: $316.33

Personally I do not separate professional and personal needs (except to the IRS), they are inseparable in my opinion.

So how is it going?
We want to live the purchase with you!

It may be wise to have a USB stick to boot into your recovery programs.
Maybe a USB for each recovery program, assuming your computer can boot from a USB stick.

After a hard reset, did you reset the BIOS to default? If you plan on replacing the MB anyway, you can reset the bios, or use other test settings, like setup defaults or other defaults.

212
Not a sef-built computer, but mine would act up after a power failure at times.
It sounded like it was working hard starting up, fans spinning hard.
I found that if I unplug the power at the computer and pulled the battery, then try to start it to make sure there was no power at all. Then put the battery in and plug it in, it would boot up. Of course I had to go to bios, first thing, to reset the clock.
Then it was fine after that.

213
Can you post the error codes? If there is one, numbers or message.

I did not miss that your system is Vista.
W7 is all I have, so that's what I look at.

Here is a shot of my w7 SC toolbar.
It seems fine to me, but each person is unique.

For w7 the defaults are in control panel-color management.

I don't think Apply should grey out because it's not a permanent change.
Which gives me time to check and test if I like the changed settings.
You can hit Cancel to discard changes or Accept to keep them.

imho fwiw

Eset is quite high, but I'm ok with it still.
The features are worth it to me.

Thanks.

I think you have to create a folder in the frames directory, or use an existing one.

KunkelHands.png.mask is in that folder too.

I put the KunkelHands.png in

C:\Program Files\ScreenshotCaptor\Frames\Set 1

and it seems to work
