I've also made a ton of screencasts

You certainly did!
It's been a while since I went to that page.
Lots of help.

https://www.donation....com/screencasts/sc/

The only thing lacking, imo, is the help file that comes with SC.
I'd like to suggest that the help file be broken down like the preferences.
-The Basics
-Basic Capturing
-Advanced Tweaking
-Tools
I know a user can always come here for help.
Sometimes a help file is more useful.
And with all the beta work done recently, the answers or workings of SC are fresh in the mind.

I suppose this is a sensitive subject for some.
I have no problem with that.
There can be a little humor though.
Since we will all face that day, I suppose.
I think I'll just quit posting after I die :)
No formal last post...unless it's this one....lol.
Maybe the basement for these types of events, I don't know.
The OP did say thoughts wanted.

Wow, cool IainB, FotoTagger is impressive!

yeah, i have to agree Stoic

A memorial section in the forum would not be out of line.

"The Sacred Art of Living and the Sacred Art of Dying are one and the same."
-Healing the Healers
-The AnamCara Project

I'm pretty convinced that bastards exist so that some might know what they don't want to be. And to make it easy to spot who the bastards are, and to see who is not.

edit-

check....

Cool 4wd, I wasn't sure if air pistols and rifles would qualify for gadgets.
No practical purpose except fun, or maybe getting the next meal. :)

That Gecado is an old, but well built rifle.
An antique even, probably worth more then it sold for new.

There is a huge fan base for air guns.
I like the air guns better then any Co2 powered pellet gun.
Less equipment to buy with air.

I've been playing with my air pistol.
I have a Crosman 1377. Shooting .177 pellets. About 5 pumps is enough, this gun's limit is 10 pumps. Some of the other air guns need only one pump, I can't afford those yet.
I like these pellets with the red polymer tip, I can see which way to put the pellets in the gun.
Shooting targets at 10 to 20 yards, it's very accurate!
The price is good if you find it on sale at your local sporting goods store.

I've found a new hobby!
Some of these air pistols are very expensive.
It is very good with open sights, but I'm going to put a sight on the pistol, a red dot sight.

A rifle with a scope might be my next one.

The pellets can be deadly and should be treated with care.
My pistol shoots at around 500 feet per second.
I shoot in my garage or the backyard.
It doesn't make much noise.

You could use Avant instead, it's light weight and fast.
And I would choose Avant over Firefox if I was wanting to stay in an IE frame of mind.

I use Avant for my work email and work related tasks.

MAYBE what he really was saying is that under certain circumstances it is too difficult for a new visitor to navigate the site.

I think what he was saying is that it's not easy enough for file leeches....  ::)

The way it is now the dc software can't be downloaded and activated without visiting this site. I think that is the point. The software can't be hot linked for activation. It does not bother me any, but that's me.

You may want to try Dolphin Text Editor Menu.
It runs in the tray, triggered via hotkey.

After removing all quick fields, yes.
And the override will override the quick field in the main window, but not in preferences-file naming template-default new file name.
Preferences-file naming template-default new file name must be empty/blank to accommodate the override.

And even if preferences-file naming template-default new file name is blank, without an override name it will use the last preferences-file naming template-default new file name. I think that is how it is working.

I put "test" in the new post-capture dialog field for filename overide.
This is what I got after 'save and show'.

test Screenshot - 6_30_2013 , 6_11_16 PM

Is that what it's supposed to do?

It took at least 130 'clicks' to make net1tek's post, not counting the spaces.

Greetings and welcome to the DonationCoder.com License Key page.

The software from DonationCoder.com is free for individual use. The reason we require people to download a license key from us is to get them to take a look at our website and think about whether they might be willing to make a donation to this site. If you run a business with more than 4 employees see our commercial site-license page.

In order to encourage people to really consider making a donation, we have adopted a somewhat unusual policy for people who do not donate:

The free license key generated here will remove the reminder nag from the program for 6 months.
After 6 months the reminder will come back and you must return to this page to generate a new license key which will last for another 6 months.
After 1 year from your initial signup you can return to this page for a permanent non-expiring license key.
You don't have to make a decision right now, but for those who do choose to donate now we have a whole bunch of extra special benefits.

If you're not ready to make a donation at this time, but want to download a free key for one of the programs on this site, you'll first need to sign up at our forum, or log in if you already have an account.

Everything on our site is designed to work with your forum login, and we hope you'll find it a useful place to talk about software ideas and discoveries (signing up will only take a minute, you don't have to donate, and we promise not to send you spam or share your email address or login information with other sites).

Yes, on grabbing menus! I'm able to grab the listary menu now.

Also, no task bar icon during loading.

Listary is what I count on now for file history stuff.
I use the free version.

It's absurd to proceed further and prosecute on any kind of illegal "hacking" charge. That is a govern'mental' wimp charge with the only intent being to distract from the real issue. Make these political weasels fess up to their own criminal actions.

edit- "illegal "hacking" charge"

Whatever form of getting the info should not be the central issue and lay the blame on anything to do with computers or other way of communicating. The media of the delivering or gathering of the info is not the issue.

Actually there are some foot controllers. I've thought about using one for cap shift, but not for browsing.

Living Room / Re: The Coffee/Caffeine Thread!
« on: June 17, 2013, 09:32 AM »
That is probably why I like it, it's light on acidity, and not bitter like some dark roasted coffee. Their are these roasts from CBI (and other distributors I'm sure), dark, espresso, peak, velvet, French, Italian, satin, double French and maybe more. I'm not much for the flavored coffee, but there are plenty of those.

Not to take away any from the other posts, but would XMouse work?

http://www.highrez.c...useButtonControl.htm

Like TXMouse, it still uses the default clipboard. Unless you come up with a combination that will do what you want it to do. There are a lot of actions that can be assigned to the mouse buttons with XMouse.
