« on: June 12, 2009, 04:15 PM »

here is an additional idea how to improve Farr. Farr should also be able to search the complete harddisk and not only the startmenu.
Maybe this could be realized with a plugin.

how about an option to autosend own images to free image hoster like imageshack?

currently I use Winamp, but I am looking for an alternative with a less clutteres interface. Winamp is currently having far too much functions for a normal user. I am just looing for a simple program.

if anyone is looking for a funny tower defense game: plants vs zombie is what you are lookig for. It is a similar addictive game like Peggle with a really simple graphic.  Checkout the demo

Where can I hide the FARR status bar?

thanks for the hint

how to give each USB stick a specific drive letter
Each time I plug my USb stick to my PC it sometimes get a new drive letter. This is especially annoying, if you use a backupprogram to backup your harddisk data on it. Due to the changed drive letters, the backupprogram loses all file references.

General Software Discussion / Re: New version: Copernic Desktop Search 3
« on: September 14, 2008, 09:23 AM »
I tried MS Desktop Search now.
It looks good until now.

Just some things bother me:
- is it not possible to adjust which columns should be displayed in the search results?
- can I Index my Thunderbird Mails
- Search when I type in the normal Search desktop view

Display search results as you type

This is a big minus for private user.
I think I will stay with version 2.x and I am looking for an alternative.
Can someone recommend a good alternative for Copernic?

How much RAM do you have?
I wouldn't do this If I had less than 2 GB Ram
