When Alex died, BBC reported that a parrot died which was smarter than most American Presidents. What they forgot to mention is that it was also smarter than most members of the Tudor family  :):

It used to be free. But it went commercial.

Yup. It was called Frogatto then. Commercial version is called Frogatto&Friends, but also only Frogatto. It looks like they can't decide how to call their game ... :)

About thefreegamesdb.com:

it should have a separate page with games with highest score mentioned so I don't have to check all of them to see all the ratings ...

Frogatto & Friends is not free ... http://www.frogatto.com/download

Gotcha! Glad you took advantage of the code :)

Just by chance I looked in the topic. I promise I'll read it one day, I promise  ;)

Btw maybe some friends of mine downloaded it also as I posted your message in one topic with books review (mostly sci-fi). Sorry about that (my "payback" is still open).

Have fun with writing!

811
No need to give it to me. Put it up for sale and I'll buy it. You bought mine, after all.

I didn't buy it, I got it with your free code.  :)

I don't think it's a problem for parents to monitor their children - I think it's DUTY to monitor them.

If you don't monitor them in some way or another (btw, children are very vulnerable group, as we all know), who are you going to blame but yourself when you get a phone call asking you to go to the morgue to recognize the body of your child that was raped and dumped in some alley?

People are weird. They will always say:"Well, this happens to others and not to me." Guess what? It could happen to you, you know. Better that it doesn't, but it could.

813
Looks like four.

I must admit that I was one of them. I'll give you one of my short stories next week so I can repay your good deed.

 :)

Kyrathaba, how many people downloaded the book through "the free window"?

Mini-Reviews by Members / Re: Review of Zeus Edit

That was singularly unhelpful.  What kind of error?  What OS?

Some error when it asks me to take a look inside a log and report it to the developers.

I asked myself how do I not know about this software. But I do. I tried it before and got the same error.  I uninstalled it then and forgot about it.

Maybe it is my just my comp (Win XP), who knows. I really do not like two versions of software: those which crash during installation and those which crash the moment I start to use them.

Maybe the author should base the Lite version to some newer Zeus Edit Pro version ...

Bandulet: Last years of the Euro
Short book about how it came that the Germans were dupped (and by whom) to gave up the D-Mark.

Deutsch: The Silver Conspiracy
What you should know about trading with the silver in the past and present.

Carter: The Education of Little Tree
Excellent book about young Indian, who lost both his parents. He was adopted by his grandparents, which taught him about the Indian way of life and how they perceive it. Highly recommended. (It was thought that this book was an autobiography, but it was later revealed that it was written by a Ku Klux Klan leader. Bizarre or what?)

10,000 Year Clock:
" ... There is a Clock ringing deep inside a mountain. It is a huge Clock, hundreds of feet tall, designed to tick for 10,000 years. Every once in a while the bells of this buried Clock play a melody. Each time the chimes ring, it’s a melody the Clock has never played before. The Clock’s chimes have been programmed to not repeat themselves for 10,000 years. Most times the Clock rings when a visitor has wound it, but the Clock hoards energy from a different source and occasionally it will ring itself when no one is around to hear it. It’s anyone’s guess how many beautiful songs will never be heard over the Clock’s 10 millennial lifespan ...":

Four Horsemen:
" ... The modern day Four Horsemen continue to ride roughshod over the people who can least afford it. Crises are converging when governments, religion and mainstream economists have stalled. 23 international thinkers come together and break their silence about how the world really works and why there is still hope in re-establishing a moral and just society. Four Horsemen is free from mainstream media propaganda, doesn't bash bankers, criticize politicians or get involved in conspiracy theories. The film ignites the debate about how we usher a new economic paradigm into the world which, globally, would dramatically improve the quality of life for billions ...":

THE WAR ON DEMOCRACY (John Pilger's documentary):
"... Using archive footage sourced by Michael Moore's archivist Carl Deal, the film shows how serial US intervention, overt and covert, has toppled a series of legitimate governments in the Latin American region since the 1950s. The democratically elected Chilean government of Salvador Allende, for example, was ousted by a US backed coup in 1973 and replaced by the military dictatorship of General Pinochet. Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador have all been invaded by the United States ...":

The Crime of the Canadian Banking System:
"... For nearly 40 years, Canada - the people of Canada - had control of their own currency! Imagine! They founded their own bank and issued their own currency with no debt obligations to banks. Taxes were low and debt was too. They got themselves out of the depression that had been induced by the international banking cartel in 1929. By 1934, through the driving force of one man -- Gerald Grattan McGeer, Mayor of Vancouver, B.C. -- Canada founded the Bank of Canada and they were on their way to debt-free recovery. Problem was, the Canadians, busy building their own country, didn't think about, weren't taught about, didn't fully know about what they had -- and they lost it to the banking cartel in 1974. A Bilderberg-banker plan to take it away from them and mire them back in deep debt, forcing them to sell off and privatize everything they'd accomplished in those healthy four decades. Canada's Great Experiment was over. But all isn't lost. The structure is still there and so is the Bank of Canada. Bill Abram tells the story, also, of Nobel-prize winner Mohammad Yunus's bank, which demonstrates "poverty is not caused by poor people; poverty is caused by the system." Hocus pocus malthusianism as practiced by the Bilderbergers and their minions is exposed by Yunus and Abram ...:
