Living Room / Image attachment problems

I have tried three times to post a handful of images.  Once I accidentally attached a .psd file, another time a .tif, the last time one (or all) were too large.  Every time the editor undoes *all* of the attachments instead of just the offenders.  I've already spent 15 minutes.  I'll try again later, maybe.

Tried in two different browsers.
I can't ping it, either.

Could be my connection.  Or maybe something in between.  I'll try again tomorrow.

When you run this program today (years later) it says this on the first run.

The ChartLyrics.com API does not appear to be accessible at this time.  Please try this application again when the ChartLyrics.com website is available.  Apologies for the inconvenience.

Oh, and I have another idea.
At the bottom of the Clips Tab, there is Copy Window Text, but who really ever wants to copy *everything* like that?
What if there was a button for "Copy Entry" or "Copy Line"?
Then you could put the cursor on the line you wanted and copy everything between delimiters with one button without having to select the text.

I was using ClipX for the longest time, but then something happened - I don't know what - and it was breaking my ctrl+C key and I couldn't copy anything anymore unless I closed it.  Strange.  But if there was "Copy Line" in ClipTrap, I wouldn't need another clipboard program.

Skwire, I have an idea for ClipTrap.
Since ClipTrap makes archives of the last X number of text files, what if there was an option or command to open that folder in Explorer? 
It would be easy to implement.

My laptop is dead and I want to copy the data from the hard drive - except that the hard drive is an M.2 SSD chip with M key configuration.

I can't even find an adapter to read it with.
The BEST I can come up with is a PCIE card to fit it into my computer - but I don't want that. I also found this one, which accomodates all three m.2 styles.
I'm looking for some external adapter or chip or something.

I have an external SATA bay, if I could find some way to hook it to that.

I did find this, but I'm kind of afraid to shop on this site, and it's out of stock anyway.

Any advice, anyone?  I'm rather stuck.

Ah, maybe this! It will take x2 m-key chips and has a 3.5" SATA interface!

Yeah, I wouldn't use this procedure for an image gallery.  I've used it to store images for buttons in certain javascript applications (like InDesign Extendscript or Firefox Custom Buttons) where you don't want external files, and I use it myself for images in email signatures.  The value of this is that you can store the image inside the code - so it would be best for smallish type icons. 

However, to avoid 117-line strings, you could always disable wordwrap in your text editor!  hahahaaa

For some time now I have wanted to make a web-based application (in javascript - but I love jquery) whereby resources can be scheduled.
My premise is this:

Now, Ath has made a nifty bedroom-planner application (for scheduling bunkers, perhaps at a camp) which is similar, and I sort of unwittingly hijacked his NANY thread, so I am starting my own here.

Here is my premise.
(If you haven't read my profile, by the way, I am a Catholic Religious Brother, hence the nature of my premise)

We have here at our house 9 altars.
We have several priests stationed here, and often have visiting priests, and they all need to say Mass everyday.  It is my job to schedule them for a time and an altar.
Normally, a priest only says one Mass per day, but in some larger chapels they might say two.  I also have to schedule altar boys to serve for them.

Presently, I print out a big table and fill everything in by hand since it changes alot.  I used to do this in excel, but it is clumsy to cut and paste.

What I envision for the web application is this:
The user first enters in the names of all the priests so there is a list.
There are preset timeslots. Each Mass lasts about 45 minutes with preparation time.
The altar boys may serve at one time or another, so there needs to be a way to specify which times they are available (depends on their own schedules).

I want to be able to see a sort of layout of timeslots for each altar, and then drag and drop the name of the priest onto a time slot.  The same for the altar boys, but they need to somehow marked as available or not for a particular slot.  The idea is to drag and drop.  When a priest is placed into a slot, he is removed from the waiting list.  The server remains in the servers list if he is available for another time.

I would like to be able to change the calendar from day to week to month.
Also, it is a necessity that I be able to print the week chart so I can hang it in the Sacristy for everyone to see in the mornings when they say Mass, so they know where to go.

So far, I have found this resource calendar framework on github that can provide the calendar part. 

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

Hi, nogojoe - wow, that is very generous of you!  I wasn't trying to get anyone to get this going for me - really, I was just talking (if it were a javascript-based web-application, I could modify it to suit my needs and the needs of our other chapels, too).  Maybe I should start a new thread though, because now we aren't talking about Ath's nice bedtime application.

Ath, so, 9 altars, normally, the priests would all say Mass simultaneously at two times, say, 6:30 and 7:14 - taking about 45 minutes with preparations.  But then there will be later Masses at other times intermittently.  Yes, each priest can only say Mass once; although in some chapels where there a lot of people a priest might say two Masses on the main altar, although this isn't the case at the place where I am stationed.

I've searched for planner type applications to track this before and never really found what I was looking for.  I still haven't abandoned the idea of writing something myself.

Another place it is used - is by the Firefox Custom Buttons extension for the button icons - when you select an image for the icon, it base64 encodes it so it doesn't have to refer to a file location.

The bedroom schemes has a limited use, I think (which is why it is interesting - solving a very particular problem this way is fascinating to me), but I have a similar particular problem.  (Maybe you have read my profile, I am a Catholic Religious Brother) We have 9 altars here at our house, and I have to schedule any random number of priests to say Mass at them every day.  Sometimes we have only a few priests, sometimes we have 20 (at certain times of the year).  Right now I do all this on pen and paper, but I've always dreamed of writing a program to do it for me, and then to share the program with my colleagues all over the USA who have the same problem.  I thought of creating an online application using a javascript system called FullCalendar.  But I have only gotten into the beginning stages and ran out of time (and go back to pencil and paper).

Your program looks interesting - but could be more generally useful if the schema were not limited to "bedrooms" and "sleepers" but rather to "assets" and "users" that could be named anything. For me "bedrooms" could become "altars".  However, there will never be anyone paired for my uses, but the scheduling throughout the day and the durations would be the primary thing.

Hi, Skwire - I just wanted to leave a comment on your thread to get rid of the "0 replies" in red letters next to your NANY entry...  Looks interesting, but I'm not even sure what a subsonic server is.  But I love it when people make things for the NANY, even if I never heard of the things they are doing.

Thanks for trying it out!  For webpages, bear in mind that the encoded image is *very* long.  It increases the page size but you don't have to load an external file.  The best use of this, I think, is for using html email signatures.

Usage
Installation
Just extract the zip file to a folder and run the exectuable.

Using the Application
Run baseimage.exe and select Run Demo from the Tools Menu.
Or, drag your own image onto the window and select Export html to file from the File Menu (html files normally open in your browser).  Then, in your browser, view source.

Uninstallation
Just exit the application and delete all the files.
