i am going to be adding a feature to aliases so that you can choose to launch them as soon as they match, without having to hit enter. will be soonplease make this an option, since it would be a mess for a lot of users ...

nod5, it's a bug, it should allow it since it is in a local file. will fix in update for this week.@mouser, does a file residing on localhost is considered as safe ?
i'm not doing it on purpose, and it should reset to default when you start up the real Internet Explorer.when i start up the real internet explorer the user-agent regedit entry remains the same
i'm trying to get it to stop doing this (temporary) changeso unfortunately it does not seem to be temporary
There's only an "igo " before every URL...
Or do you actually want to see the current URL?yes i want to see the current URL and i'd like to be able to change it
Then one could easily write a little wrapper page with JS which shows the URL. I guess a full adress bar could be realized this way too (is it possible to retrieve the current URL of a page which is shown in an IFrame?)
When browsing on my hard disk I always see the current folder as the first entry in the result list. Furthermore it's written in lower capital letters, even if the original name has upper capital letters (all the other entries are capitalized correctly).+1
In my opinion there should be an option to remove the first entry. But on the other hand you could also add a ".." entry (for the sake of completeness, which will navigate one level up).
When pressing "left" in file browsing mode while the focus is in the list, the level above is shown but the focus is completely away! Neither in the result list nor in the input field.true, i also reported that for historys command
I am still troubled by the idea that we are getting dangerously near the precipice of making FARR a "browser with some extras" which is not what we want. We want FARR to be a launcher with some extras including a mini browser for specific tasks. If people want to use a nice big browser, they should use their browser. We don't want FARR to try to be competing with real browsers in terms of surfing features.
the only question is whether to let it be toggled on/off and howi suggest :
I was confused that in FARR forms are displayed differently than in IE7\
the farr:// links will ONLY work when found in local files or showhtml text, they will be ignored for security reasons if found on an internet file.
Running FARR 2.06.05 I get an access violation any time I shut the computer down.

to be clearer: plugins have the ability to take over the launching of each file instead of having farr launch it. and farr will ignore modifiers like +OPENWITH=blahblah. so you just need a plugin that decides to look for +OPENWITH and takeover those launches.
