Thanks, Perry. A strange thing happens though, for some reason the day (format 'E') is reported as Friday when in fact it's Thursday. I've also made a few changes to the Norwegian.ini which I'll email you soon.

but now why are the bookmarks with nothing in the launch count column being sorted before those that have numbers?  And how to I change all the nothing launch counts to be zero?

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Nothing = zero, and 1 > 0, right?

Maybe there's a software section "missing"? Something between 'Announce your Product' and 'Coding snacks', that would sound more like the line of software that wraith808 and other users posts? Or possibly rename the announce-forum? (I know I should come up with some great suggestions for a name, but I don't have them...)

Open the search window
Type something in the query...the display list should shorten as each letter is typed
Now, press Esc
the query box is cleared.  Yes, that is true.  But the display list still shows the shortened list from whatever query you had before pressing Esc.

The display list should immediately show the full list as soon as Esc is pressed.  So when Esc is pressed, the query box should be cleared (this works) AND the display should be expanded to full (this doesn't work).  I'm having this behavior on every computer I've tried.

Really liking Linkman Lite now that I've understood a bit more how things work, but the behaviour superboyac was talking about is a little annoying and I agree that ESC should just clear the query and as such have a full list (in preferred sort order).

I've looked if this has changed but couldn't find it, so if it's already added, then please point me in the right direction

Would be nice with user variable 'FileManager=[customfilemanager]' so it'll open a dir in a user's favourite file manager if no Open Dialog is... open. Even better would be if it could read FARR's setting for custom file explorer, but I don't know if that's possible.

Otherwise this could be on it's way to becoming a favourite (no pun intended) of mine!

Yes, I realize that, but I was referring to the actual installer, which is a bit unfriendly, IMO. Would much prefer a regular installation routine.

Will Linkman free be available in a regular installation program anytime soon? The stuff it's packaged in now is pretty annoying, IMO. Doesn't let me install anywhere and the download affiliate is blocked in my routers ad-blocker (can be worked around, of course).

I've tried it on a couple of occasions but never really seriously partly because I was too annoyed with the installation routine to give it a fair run.

I imagine the AV companies consider which company is more important: Theirs or some other company. If they let the user decide whether something is a false positive or actual virus there's bound to be some users who'd let a virus through and then probably blame the AV software. So it's safer for them to trigger on the false positives.

evgeni: For some reason there's a Download full version in the menu bar... what's that about? Clicking it downloads latest version, but it's still there. I'm a registered user (through TrialPay) so a little baffled by this.

You'd need to change the long format as well; and the months too (both short and long).

Looked at the source and I guess I can just change line 311 from:

[Select]

Date.dayAbbreviations = new Array('Sun','Mon','Tue','Wed','Thu','Fri','Sat');

to:

[Select]

Date.dayAbbreviations = new Array('søn','man','tir','ons','tor','fre','lør');

But maybe make this configurable in the settings somehow?

Anyway, now it's perfect
