May be also useful, but since LBC is a mouse-driven toolbar that means the user has to access the keyboard and the mouse. I usually find I flick the mouse cursor over to the left edge of the screen, click, and LBC whatever I'm doing - i never actually use the 'auto-appear' function as it takes too long or (occasionally) doesn't respond.

So how it is now is fine in that regard, the only issue arises when I'm doing something else over that side of the screen, 'cos LBC invariably pops up when it's not wanted (especially when I close windows - I still sometimes do it 'old-school' with the double-clicking at the top-left). Hope that makes sense!

LaunchBar Commander / Request: "manual open" docking preference
« on: March 05, 2007, 02:53 PM »
Hi,

I'd like to request, if possible, for another docking preference: manual open. When I'm working near that side of the screen i'd rather the autohidden launchbar not pop out at me, demanding my attention. Is it possible to have it so that it won't open unless clicked right at the edge of the screen, but re-hides like normal?

Thanks!

LaunchBar Commander / Opening 'My Computer' from LBC
« on: March 03, 2007, 04:27 PM »
Hey,

Is it at all possible to launch 'My Computer' from within LBC? I know it's possible to simply use explorer.exe, but my most-often used quick launch icon is the 'My Computer' one - which opens in a different place and view to explorer.exe - and I'd really like to get rid of the quick launch bar entirely.

Cheers!

Thank you. I was struggling with this myself.
