Nice ride.  What's with the roll cage, do some drag racing do you?   :P

It had a racing engine in it when I 1st bought it. But I swapped that out so I could drive it daily instead of once or twice a month. Now, the roll bar and racing harness are just 'safety features'.

Yeah, good idea. Though I will have to remember not to copy porntube addresses to clipboard once I install it on my computer, and on mom's  :-[

How do you get a tube of porn? Does it come in different sizes?

-no, that's not how this thread works: You have to buy a license, and then come back and tell, the product is no good!
 :P

The app is only $2, so I could do that just to spite you!  :P

I stumbled across this - DataTap (Genius was actually useful for once). It looks promising. I will report back it if is any good.

HanDBase. I don't recommend it.
Worrying, because I'd begun to ponder it again.  I still use a Palm, and HanDBase is one of the few apps that have Windows, Palm, Android and other mobile platforms.  It also begs the question: what actually is a good, usable, affordable database app for Windows, if you don't have/don't want to use Microsoft Access?

  • The manual for HanDBase is probably good, if you know all about databases. If you don't or you are extremely rusty, the manual is basically useless.
  • The tech support person (and I think there is only one), only seems capable of giving expert level instruction, despite my asking for novice level.
  • The UI is complex and combined with the above two, I could not figure out how to perform a task I was able to accomplish in 5 minutes in Tap Forms.
  • The program is full of bugs. For example, despite the fact that I am using the iPad add-on, iPad is not an option for form resolution/screen size.

I filed about 10 bugs with the company before I decided to move on.

HanDBase. I don't recommend it. I thought it could do what I want it to do, and it probably can, but the UI is confusing, the tech support talks to me like I know what I am doing (and I don't in this case) and the program is chock full of bugs. I ended up switching to an iPad only solution that actually works.

Also, I have purchased countless iPad apps (since there is no demo option for most of them) that I later decided sucked or didn't suit my needs.

I have it.  I have an iPad 3.  I had it when I had an iPad 1.  There's apparently *something* that's different from device to device, because on neither of my iPads is it sluggish.  Don't know what I can give you beyond personal experience.

$30? :p

Win+M is supposed to minimize windows. You won't be able to remap it.

Some keys (and I don't recall the exact key now) can't be re-assigned as they are hardcoded and Windows won't let you. I have a program that allows the Windows keys to be re-mapped and it failed for 1 particular key. When I contacted the developer, he did some research and then removed the key from the list of re-mappable keys.

I have found others that cannot be re-mapped. I was never able to find a workaround, despite posting in various places and scouring the net.

Uhm....take a look around you...Do you really think God is an engineer? If he is, he definitely was working without a spec.

I saw two different reviews that said it performed like a dog on an iPad 3. One recommended it but only as a means to have your documents with you. It specifically stated you should do most of the heavy lifting on a Mac and I don't have a Mac so...

Also, it gets dinged for being sluggish in several reviews on the store page.

I looked at several of the ones you listed and for now I have settled on Notebooks. Circus Whatever, despite the revolting name, seemed to have a lot of very nice features, but it got panned as being practically unusable due to sluggishness.

You, silly! I was quite specific. Why won't that program, or any of the others like it, work for you?

I looked at Textilus, Write 2 and several others. There doesn't seem to be a killer app in this category for the iPad. Does anyone have anything they *really* love? And don't say Pages. :p

I currently use Awesome Notes to write my stories, songs and poems, but it has a very limited feature set for actual heavy writing.

This is no laughing matter! I challenge you to a duel! Hand grenades at 10 paces!

You probably want to know the universe when you can't even find your way around Chinatown.

Only Chinese people can find their way around Chinatown! Everything is in Chinese!
