You know you ve been there!

You have a friend over and he brought his protable hardrive etc and theres a ton of stuff he wants but is spread out all over your ssytem on diffrent harddrives, both local and on your LAN etc and you have to sit and copy folder or file by folder or file from all the different places manually.

Instead, how about being able to drag n drop something you want to copy to a little window hovering next to explorer and then, when you ve dragged n dropped everything you wish to copy over to a specific location you just press a button and the copying process starts and you and your friend can go have a cup of coffee instead of hovering in front of the computer waiting for stuff to finish copying so you can begin copying something else from another folder/drive.

thanks for the info.  have you verified that this link works with rtmpdump?

If the downloads cut out it s usually a case of it using swf verification and you have to provide the swf path in the command line. The swf path is usually easy to locate, in this case too. Just use URL snooper running as usual in the background and load the video page and play the vid and it will show up in URL snooper. To filter out the junk, use the keyword filter and search for swf obviously ^^.

A typical command line with swf verification looks something like this:
rtmpdump -o filnamn.flv -r "rtmpe://fmss.vpro.nl/media/mp4:41723347.mp4" -W http://3voor12.vpro.nl/flash/vodmediaplayer-25052009.swf

Hope this helps.

Oh, I forgot to mention. If your video is black but you can hear sound, it s most likely due to your system lacking a video ccodec for proper playback of the video stream. You might want to try out VLC as you default player instead of whatever else you are using at the moment. If yo udont, and want to keep using the player you are currently using, you can try your luck with the K-Lite codec pack. I would recommend yo uto start using VLC tho as it s a very comprehensive pice of software video player with many already built in codecs etc.

thanks, but i can't open that.

You need a program that can deal with encrypted rtmp streams, like rtmpdump etc.

how did you find it?

Hex editor poking around the browser process memory if nothing else works. :P

trying to download this:
http://3voor12.vpro....1129552/41723347/150

thanks in advance!

rtmpe://fmss.vpro.nl/media/mp4:41723347.mp4

Stream resolution is only 480x272 so pretty crappy quality there. Anyway, there it is...

Is it only me or have BBC obfuscated their rtmpe/rtmp streams so much by now that Snooper cant even find them?

When initiating playback sniffing the TAP-Win32 V9 adapter that I tunnel out of for UK access it only returns incomprehensible stuff like ....

5M2YÃyYzVhYzdhN2I5MWFmYzU4MjQ3ZDYyMGFkODU= flashVer WIN 10,1,82,76 swfUrl :http://www.bbc.co.uk/emp/10player.swf?revision=18269_Ã21576 tcUrl rtmp://iplayertokfs.fplive.net:1935/iplayertok?token=c3RhcnRfdGltZT0yMDEwMDgzMDE4NDAyMiZlbmRfdGltZT0yMDEwMDgzMDIyÃNDAyMiZkaWdlc3Q9YWU5M2YyYzVhYzdhN2I5MWFmYzU4MjQ3ZDYyMGFkODU= fpad  capabilities @mà      audioCodecs @¨î      videoCodecs @Ão€
videoFunction ?ð       pageUrl ^http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00tkqf7/hd/The_Deep_Everything_Put_Together_FalÃls_Apart/

It s not anything else mucking it up as I can sucessfully retreive strams from iPlayer with another program I m using, but I d like to have access for the rtmp url directly for some tinkering I m doing.

Meh, maybe it s just me that cant figure out the output.
