Post New Requests Here / IDEA: Highlight text to "copy", middle mouse to "paste"?

I was playing with Suse 9.3 + Kde desktop and a quick tip told me about highlighting text to copy it
and use the middle mouse button or wheel to paste.
 I never highlight text unless I am going to copy it so it saves a lot of time/fingers.
 Has anyone seen this for windows?
