Screenshot Captor / Pasting into Live Mail Desktop
« on: December 18, 2006, 05:22 PM »
In Screenshot Captor I have the option "Copy Image to Clipboard" set

In Windows Live Mail Desktop you can paste into the body of the compose email the contents of the clipboard.

When I capture an active window using ALT-PrintScrn and Screenshot Captor isn't running I can CTRL-V and the image pastes into the body of the Live Mail Desktop email without problem.

If I'm running Screenshot Captor and use ALT-PrintScrn, the image is in the clipboard but when I CTRL-V into the Live Mail Desktop compose window only the outline of the image appears, not the image itself.

I've tried different file types PNG, JPG etc - no luck

I'm running XP Home SP2 and have tried Screenshot Captor 2.25.03 and 2.28.06 with the same result.

Screenshot Captor / Re: Firefox black lines in AutoScroll
« on: May 27, 2006, 01:47 AM »
The AutoScroll black lines seem to be related to the size of the Firefox window.

If the Firefox window is maximized and the XP taskbar is set to auto hide then the black lines occur in the AutoScroll display.

If I don't maximize the Firefox window OR I don't auto hide the XP taskbar then the black lines don't occur in the AutoScroll display.

I hope this helps.

It happens to all pages I've tried including this one https://www.donation...dex.php?topic=3789.0

I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it without any themes or extensions.  Same AutoScroll result.

If there's anything I can do to collect doc on the problem please let me know.

Screenshot Captor / Firefox black lines in AutoScroll

When I view the result of AutoScroll I see a horizontal line evenly spaced throughout the display which I assume are like page breaks.  In IE the lines are fairly faint.  In Firefox they are a pronounced black and make the AutoScroll result not as good as IE.

I assume this is a browser issue.

In Firefox I see the web page being captured turning black as the AutoScroll progresses which I assume is why the horizontal lines are black.  If it is a Firefox issue does anyone know if there's an option in Firefox so that the black screen can be another color ?

I'm using ScreenCaptor 2.13.02 and 2.15.01 ... Firefox version is 1.5.0.3

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.3

It looks like it's OK now.

I had installed the beta version that was available on the web site on May 9th.   Before installing the v2.13.02 beta I did uninstall that May 9th available beta.

So I took my system back, via Norton GoBack, to before I had installed the May 9th available beta.  So with no evidence of Screenshot Captor on my system at all I then installed the v2.13.02 beta and the auto scroll works fine consistently on Firefox.

Perhaps coincidence ?  Or does the uninstall leave "stuff" behind that could conflict with a newer release ?

Screenshot Captor / Firefox and AutoScroll

I've loaded Screenshot Captor v2.13.02 but can not get auto scroll capture to work from the Firefox browser ... it works for IE.

I think this is a known issue.   Does anyone know if there's a work around for using auto scroll in Firefox apart from not using Firefox !!
