Ant Movie Catalog. Stores your movies offline, looks up info from MANY sources online.  Best catalog I have ever used, and free.  I have used it for years.

3  DonationCoder.com Software / Commercial Licensing of DonationCoder.com Software / Re: Welcome to the Commercial Licensing Section on: March 15, 2013, 06:50:20 AM
This could not have come at a better time.  Mouser, my company, BSI Financial, is moving to an Amazon S3 solution for storage of documents.  Mainly TIF and PDF formats. We are looking for two things.

A branded software (BSI) for browsing Amazon S3 storage with Boolean search and possibly inline image preview, that mimics Windows Explorer with as close to that feature set as possible.

A web interface for flat folder browsing of a specified bucket on Amazon. Like virtual file browsing.

We are getting ready to pay $5000 for 250 licenses of another software, however I think we can do better.  I chose the other software for ease of use and feature set. Some of our investors have access to their documents, so we will be distributing software to them.  We would prefer it to be branded, of course, and would prefer a simple web interface as well.

I am sending you a PM with my contact information.

I wanted something similar, a small toolbar to control Winamp.  Something that integrates directly into Windows Explorer or the title bar of whatever program I happen to be using...

9  Special User Sections / Adventures of Baby Cody / Cody Update on: January 12, 2013, 08:15:37 AM
Quick update on Cody:

The person to send him to has been selected and I have his address, but I have not had the time to get to the post office in our town.  My wife has been off work since March (cancer) and is just getting well enough that she can get back to work.  I started a new job (wasn't making enough at the old one for our family) after being laid off for the summer, so I am working 8-6 or 7pm every day except Sunday.  I am posting this from work now and hoping I don't get caught. Since our post office is only open 9-5 Monday-Friday , I have not had the chance to get there, and no one else in my family or our technologically challenged town understands about my beloved DC or Cody. He is resting comfortably in his spiffy mailing accommodations.  I finally earn some time off after my 90 day mark, which is January 22nd. I plan on taking an immediate day off then, I need it.  I will mail him then.

Sorry for the delay, this was unexpected when we received him, I had plans.  We live in the birthplace of the oil industry, and there are so many places for him to visit here.

Not to resurrect a dead thread, but I have been using File Punter a lot.  I was wondering if there is command line support?  I would like ot be able to use task manager to run it at a regular interval to organize files.  The Perl flavored RegEx is beautiful.

Hmmm...no takers?  Reply to this post if you want Cody to visit.  I currently have him,and he is getting quite bored sitting here on my desk all day, not to mention terrorizing my 140 lb. Eastern European Shepherd. It is time for him to move on.

14  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Re: Creating automatic bookmarks in a pdf on: November 15, 2012, 12:58:23 PM
Not to hijack a thread, but I need something else entirely.  I have been trying to get a script to extract the bookmark, and the pages to the next bookmark, and name them after the bookmark. Like extracting chapters in a book to separate files.

I get a 500 page PDF with loan documents in it, bookmarked the Note, the Mortgage, Title policy etc.  I need to extract those sections and hopefully name them after the bookmark.  So if page 0 is bookmarked "Note", 1, 2 ,3, pages, then the next bookmark on page four is "Flood", I need pages 0,1,2,3 extracted to a file called "Note".  Then the next to "Flood" and so forth through the entire file. I am using Acrobat Pro XI, so a javascript or sequence is preferred.

HOLY CRAP!  File Punter is AMAZING.  I tried a few others similar, but nothing was as powerful or flexible. The folks at work have been trying to process 600000+ files for 3 week, and with Skwire's help I was able to get it done TODAY. Regular Expression is INCREDIBLE!
16  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Re: Help With A Solution? on: October 25, 2012, 01:32:26 PM
My File Punter application should be able to do this.  y0himba, do you have any experience with regular expressions?

Unfortunately, no.  Another issue I am running into is a less then helpful IT department.  I think I may need to create the file then try to somehow get them to run it on the back end.
17  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Re: Help With A Solution? on: October 25, 2012, 12:33:16 PM
I was thinking of a simple batch file, since it is Windows.  I would then need to talk to the IT department, see if I could get them off Reddit long enough to run the batch on the back end.  I honestly just don't have the time to teach myself right now.  There are literally Terabytes of queued data to be processed...
18  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Help With A Solution? on: October 25, 2012, 06:41:57 AM
I have an issue that is beyond my batch script capabilities.  OS is Windows (hold the snark).  I have a folder structure like this:

I:\WELLS HARDRIVE
|-######(random numbered folder)
   |-######(random numbered folder)
Usually about 30-50 more sub folders, each of those folders containing TIF files with standardized pattern names. four leading digits, a six digit account number, an underscore, then 3 trailing digits. ##########_###.tif  These files, literally hundreds of thousands of them in 480 directories each with 30+ sub directories and over a thousand images in those directories, need to be moved to another directory down the tree.  The directories are already created and contain a 3 digit prefix (430) then the 6 digit account number found in the middle of the TIF file name.  So we have a file named 1230123456_789.tif, then the directory it needs to be moved to is I:\WELLS HARDRIVE\BSI\430123456. They are on a networked drive mapped in Windows to the I: drive. The directory they need to be moved to is:

I:\WELLS HARDRIVE
|-BSI
  |-430######

I need a batch way (file, program) to read the file names for that 6 digit account number, then copy or move those file to the corresponding location under BSI, into the corresponding numbered directory.  If not, I am going to be sitting here all day just searching *.tif and manually moving them...it'll take days if not a couple of weeks.

HELP?!

There is DC credits in it for anyone when I get paid on November 15th.

Did I mention I love you all?  Kiss

I was incorrect.  You can do both.  Once you purchase the bundle, go to your amazon downloads and there is a button to "view code".  All of the games have it and they are Steam redeemable!   Thmbsup

It's back up, and it is a good deal, however I think most of the games are downloadable through Amazon only, and only 3 have online keys (Steam).

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but stay away from Snap Pea, it is a rip off of AirDroid.  I use AirDroid and Wifi Explorer Pro.  They aren't MyMobiler, but they are still very useful
