Screenshot Captor / Mouse Wheel suggestion
« on: January 27, 2006, 03:11 PM »
Mouse wheel should change the image selection if the cursor is on the left file selection tree

365
personally I think PNG is really good, but it takes a lot of space.

JPG takes less space but the text quality is not good

hello,

maybe it would be better to use treeview folder options
if there are more options I think this would be much better for the overview

General Software Discussion / Re: suggesting: "best encryption"
« on: January 26, 2006, 02:51 PM »
Truecrypt requires admin access even for usb thumbdrives, so that's not good. FolderLock (not free) can do it without admin.

right, but personally I still like it, because it is so easy to use. ;)

Thanks for the program hints

Sage and Mobysaurus are both great

Living Room / add searchfield to forum
« on: January 25, 2006, 03:41 PM »
Hi,

normally there is a search field in the SMF default forum, where you can directly enter a search word without clicking the search button

Can this also be done here? it would speed up searching ;)

I ended up with Babylon Pro 5 as well. I've used it before and it's a very reliable and, most of all, fast tool. It's instant and very accurate. As for that question, no it's not. Merriam-Webster also has a tool that uses OCR to look up words, but it's nowhere close to as good as Babylon IMHO.

I also use Babylon. I want to ask is Babylon really the only software which use OCR technology to recognize words?
