Official DonationCoder.com Reviews / add version number to programs
« on: January 22, 2006, 02:34 PM »
Hello,

how do you find the idea, to add version numbers to the reviews?
So the user can see on which version the review is based on.

does anyone of you believe in defragmentation programs and their benefits for speed improvement?
is it worth to spend 30-40$ for a defragmentation program?

General Software Discussion / Re: SQX format for compression
« on: January 22, 2006, 02:29 PM »
SQX is really strong on image compressing. But I like the 7Zip format mroe, because the compression is better than RAR and it is also OpenSource

« on: January 22, 2006, 10:15 AM »
AFAIK Mulberry is not supported anymore.
it should be removed from review site

383
thanks for your info.
but maybe this could also be possible with Screenshot Captor. ;)

384
e.g. I use a 3d CAD program. The background is blue, the model is on the foreground.

blue should be replaced by transparent colour.

385
Hello,

How can I save the background of a screenshot as transparent for a powerpoint presentation?
The image format should be in lossless PNG

personally I would find first one useful. Just to make sure other websites won't use the same screenshots on their page.

Hello,

each time I make a graphic operation like text or arrow the button jumps back to "object select mode" button.

Is this a bug?
I want that my last selected button is still selected

Best Archive Tool / 7Zip - best archiver tool
« on: January 14, 2006, 03:40 AM »
Hello,

personally I would suggest 7-zip for the best archiver tool. It has better compression ratios than WinRAR, it's free and it has a really clean interface.

Only thing what I miss in 7zip is ISO support

Hello,

I fully agree with your review. I use Website Watcher for some years and the program gets better and better. Even the beta versions are very stable for productive use.
