Screenshot Captor / Scrolling capture?
« on: September 30, 2014, 01:31 AM »
Can SC scroll a browser window and make a copy as it scrolls?  Like the commercial program screen capture program Hypersnap?

Also can SC glue multiple captures together to be saved as one file (again same as above program).

General Software Discussion / Unwanted explorer window at bootup
« on: July 12, 2008, 05:08 AM »
I am using AVG Pro AV (v8).  Whenever I reboot, a new Explorer window opens up pointing to the AVG root folder.  I have checked all the usual auto startup registry and other start locations but see nothing that would kick off an Explorer window.

I sent a couple of emails to AVG but have not gotten any return replies (so I would not recommend that anyone upgrade to the AVG Pro).

Any ideas?

General Software Discussion / Here's my problem
« on: March 11, 2008, 04:02 AM »
I have an old E4M encrypted file that I forgot the password to.  E4M is no longer distributed but can still be gotten here:

Does anyone know of some sort of safe script program that would help me try to crack my old password through brute force?

I'm thinking that the script would let me put in possible words that I might have used for a password into a file.  Then it would combine them in all the different permutations and automatically place each attempt into the password field, click the enter button and keep trying until it worked?  This doesn't sound hard to do (to me :) ) but I don't know where to search for it.  I am wary of a lot of sites that advertise cracking programs and don't want to back into something that isn't safe and secure.

I looked at a program called Cain & Abel but it didn't look like it would help me do what I want.
