  • Any single vowel letter
                Type @
  • Any single consonant letter
                Type %
  • Any string of characters
                Type *
  • Any single character in this range
                Type like [a-z] (ranges must be in ascending order. ) or type like [a,t,d] or [atd]
  • Any single character except the characters in this range
                Type like [!a-z] (ranges must be in ascending order. ) or type like [!a,t,d] or [!atd]
