How Much Should I Donate?
Unsure as to how much you should donate?
In general we simply ask people to donate what they feel comfortable with - donate an amount that leaves you feeling you are getting a fantastic deal.
But some people have asked us to help them estimate how much they should donate. So we commissioned a very expensive scientific study to determine the ideal donation amount that people should make (in fact it has cost us more than the total sum of donations we have made since we started this site).
The results of this 10-year study can finally be made public. We hope you find it useful.
There are many benefits to becoming a donating member, including a permanent non-expiring license key for all of our programs, early access to beta releases and new reviews, discounts on popular shareware, and much more.
Donate now using PayPal and you'll receive your lifetime member activation code and non-expiring program license instantly via email.

Desktop Coral - Clever conceptThe other day we wrote about a nifty Yahoo widget called Informer that's an extremely customizable toolbar. One of the commenters, "Change", was wondering whether there's a way to reserve the screen space associated with toolbar like Informer so that other applications won't cover it up.. I spent a few minutes searching on the Internet before coming up with the free DesktopCoral.. I have to admit that this is quite a clever concept, and there are a variety of reasons where it could be useful.
Suggested Donation Amount Chart
Sometime in the near future, we may put in place a minimum charge for a deluxe lifetime membership that includes all past and future software on DonationCoder.com. If so, the probable cost would be: $50. Until then, a donation of any amount will grant you a lifetime deluxe membership.
We think that's a great deal, but we want you to decide for yourself how much it's worth to you and how much you can afford, and choose an amount you feel good about.
If you are still unsure how much to donate, the following chart may be helpful to you in figuring out how much you should donate. It's based on an expensive 10-year scientific study we commissioned from the brightest minds in anti-capitalist thought:
