I'd like to be able to organize my taskbar buttons by coloring them, in order to group by task or customer for example. Perhaps set it up so you could right-click a taskbar button (or ctrl+click to select a few taskbar buttons) and choose from a list of user-defined colors (Similar to the email tagging feature in Thunderbird). Selecting one of the options would change the text color and background color for that taskbar button.
I use the free XNeat Window manager to drag-rearrange the buttons, but there's no division between different groupings. If they were color coded, it would be really easy to tell them apart.
I've attached a before-and-after example below of what it might look like. (mock-up courtesy of MS Paint
Would it be possible to check while working on it that it doesn't conflict with Xneat Window manager?http://www.xneat.com...ager/?ref=xneat_prog
Thanks in advance, let me know if there's anything else you need.
