1 Software / FARR Plugins and Aliases / Re: New C# FARR Plugin: FARRAltTab on: January 24, 2011, 03:28:03 AM
I have the same problem on windows 7 64 bit. If the plugin is enabled it crashes Farr.

Here is the error log:

 Error initializing plugin do_init function

I see that nobody answered your post... I'd like to help, but I'm still on XP and haven't got that problem.
Maybe is there a log file somewhere with more details ??
2 Software / Find And Run Robot / Re: Launch by piping path of a file found by a plugin to another application? on: January 10, 2011, 02:16:11 PM

I made this work by pressing tab after doing my everything search "ev somefile.txt" and appending the path with the alias.
3 Software / Find And Run Robot / Re: What hotkey(s) do *you* use to trigger FARR? on: January 07, 2011, 04:53:24 AM
Pause/break is too far away! Alt or Ctl + space interferes with other things.

I use alt+f2. Incidentally this is also the short-cut for the gnome launcher so it's great to have the same shortcut for both my operating systems. It would be great to have farr run on linux though! Wink
4 Software / Find And Run Robot / Launch by piping path of a file found by a plugin to another application? on: January 07, 2011, 04:03:48 AM
I was wondering if it was possible to call an application on the search result returned by the lite everything plugin. What I want:

gvim ev _vimrc

to launch vim on the first result returned in window by everything.

Is it possible to do such a thing?

I tried playing around with an alias but wasn't successful.
