Hello!

I want to create custom images to use in PowerBI or presentations.

I can give an example: curly brackets that are like an arc to name a section in a pie chart

Is it possible to create such vector images using text editor or HTML or anything?

Thanks!

https://svg-edit.github.io/svgedit/

That is an online svg editor, which has an option to host it yourself, on your own computer or personal website. You could then take the output and make adjustments in an text editor, and see how your changes affected the image in this tool again.

Do that long and/or often enough and you'll be able to envision what you "draw" by typing text in any text editor. Something not easy to do, but not impossible. Better spend your time more wisely and use any SVG drawing program and see what you are doing.

This might not be what you're looking for, but perhaps LaTeX would help you achieve your goal?

@Shades thanks! Is SVG the best way to create such custom images/visuals? Or another format/technology? It has to be compatible to be used for most kind of graphs data (i.e. a table with populations of various countries) and adjust automatically. That is my end goal.

@Deozaan thanks, maybe yes LaTex can do it, will try
