Now, whoever you are, no matter who you are, I KNOW darn well that when you were a kid you wished that you could fly. We all did. Many of us still do. This guys does it. Pretty much any personal transportation device is uber-cool. Bicycles and motorcycles are about the only popular ones though, and they're so old and common that they've lost that "wow" factor. But flying and submarines? Still lots of coolness there for a long time to come!  |

 Seems like some are. But I think it's disappointment more than anything that's motivating most of the criticisms. Don't know about you, but the first time I watched it I actually got hopeful for about seven or eight seconds and thought: OMG! Can this possibly be on the level? Then reality reared it's ugly head and kicked my brain back into gear. I must confess I was mildly pissed for about a half a second before I started laughing. Bloody! I so wanted them to have actually done it... |

I know a few people that do Paramotoring. That's about as close as it gets to personal flight, not much different to the hoax vid except Paramotoring is real, well, there's a lot more engine noise I suppose.
