Plz add unicode support
« on: October 28, 2011, 03:34 AM »
I'm a new user of Screenshot Captor and I find the features in it are promising.

But when it comes text input, I find that my impression of SC being flawless is not right - I can not input Chinese in it, not a single word, which is very upsetting for Chinese users.

So hope you guys can fix this problem. Thanks.

My best regards,
Tyler

I wish it was easier to add..

However there is a way to add unicode text boxes in screenshot captor, by using SC in combination with my Unicode Image Maker program, which SC is designed to integrate with.

It's not an ideal solution, but if you decide to try it and have any trouble let me know -- it's been a while since anyone reported using it.

One thing i can do is make a video screencast showing how to use Unicode Image Maker with Screenshot Captor, and what it can do -- if that would be useful?

Thanks mouser. I know it's not easy, but I'm sure you can and will find a way to fix that. Will you? ;)

After I posted the thread, I tried Unicode Image Maker. No, it's not the best solution, but it's a available workaround. I'm still testing and learning how to make the full function of it. And if you can make a video screencast, it would be really helpful.

Thank you very much. And keep working on those amazing apps.
