Hmmm... Just thinking... I've heard of people packaging up FOSS (GPL) then selling it. According to what I know about the GPL, content isn't GPL, so documentation wouldn't be GPL'd.

Just a random thought.

I think the GPL applies to a WORK, whatever that is.

And if the GPL doesn't apply, in most countries copyright law will apply which usually grants even less rights than GPL would.
