I bought a license a while ago and it's one of my favourite tools.  I use it mainly for transfering video files burned on my video recorder onto a DVD-RAM to my PC.  Burned DVD have usually a few errors, and a regular copy fails.

I saw a favourable comment about it in a UK magazine a few years ago.  It's the kind of tool I'd sincerely hope never to have to use, but it's nice to know it's there if you do.

Actually is goes beyond file recovery.  You may also extract files from .iso images (not a unique feature, but still useful).
