Hello All
After reading all the rave reviews I have just downloaded the Circle Dock program and unzipped it into a folder in my Programs directory on C: However when I try to run the Circledock.exe file I get the following error:
Fatal Non UI error
Description: Stopped working
Problem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: circledock.exe Problem Signature 02: 0.9.2.0 Problem Signature 03: 48cdbdff Problem Signature 04: AMS.Profile Problem Signature 05: 2.5.3179.33253 Problem Signature 06: 48cdba3b Problem Signature 07: 81 Problem Signature 08: 57 Problem Signature 09: System.ComponentModel.Win32 OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 2057
Can anybody tell me what the issue is?
I am running Vista Home premium on an ACER Aspire 5530G
Thanks in advance.

Just out of curiosity, what version of Circle Dock are you using and what is the native language of your operating system?
From the error message, I believe it is a bug with the AMS.Profile.dll file because when I initially modified it to fully support unicode, I did not realize I had to multiply one of the numbers by 2 to fit the characters in the stream. This bug was hard to catch because most of the time, the program that uses AMS.Profile.dll start up fine even with the missing 2. I thought I replaced the AMS.Profile.dll with the fixed one. I know it's in Custom Desktop Logo and the code for AMS.Profile.dll is in that project.
I've attached the most up to date AMS.Profile.dll file to this thread. Just unzip that attachment and replace the current AMS.Profile.dll file in your Circle Dock program directory.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I am using CD 9.2 Alpha8.2 and my operating system is Vista Home.
The Native language is Thai although it is setup as English.
I did replace the AMS profile Dll with the one you provided but I still get the same error.
If you have any other ideas it would be great as I really like the idea of using this program.
Regards
Adam

Hmm, This one stumps me if it isn't a problem with the AMS.Profile.dll. Are you on a 32-bit OS or 64-bit OS? Did you download Circle Dock from http://circledock.wikidot.com?
