Sorry I haven't uploaded yet but real life got in the way today, I'll work on it some more this evening.
BTW my version requires no framework to operate.

Hi Cpilot,

Been using your program for the past few days and it is working great. No need to rush the changes.

Hi destiny_ruler,

Thanks for jumping in and supplying another option.

Unfortunately I am unable to run your program at work since they do not have .net installed on the computers.

Thanks for the hard work.

I might not be able to use it but it looks like you have a lot of other fans that will.
Thanks again.

Glad to hear it, when I get it ready I'll throw it up here.
Sometimes real life can be a pain.  :D
It's a beautiful weekend here and it seems that my adult children have "activities" planned for me.

xp home / up-to-date

it's working nicely here, unfortunately my sound card isn't working (brand new pc but havent had time to get to that yet)
but
popups are coming up nicely on time -
I'm finding it a helpful reminder of time passing by which makes me think "what am i doing right now" each time it pops up  :)

Would be nice:
1) if it closed to systray
2) if you could right click on systray icon for to close it or whatever -
nothing happens here anyways when I do - have to double click it to open it & then close it
3) if on (re)starting one just had to click "activate" instead of "apply changes" & then "activate" - but thats a minor one  :)

does the Set Loop mean that it will only (in this case) run 5 times 5mins & then stop ?

I cant make the number any higher than 5 ?!

Number of loops is the number of counts the wav file will be played. Span is the time duration (in minutes) when the application rings again.
For eg. If your loop is 5 and span is 30, then at the time of your start the application would play the wav file 5 number of times. It will replay the sound 5 number of times again after a span of 30 minutes.
The original requirement was to make it ring periodically.

If someone cant hear the wav file even if it rings 5 times then I dont think he will hear it if it rings 10 times too :P

I hope I answered all your queries

On App Restart I didnt allow to Activate Directly ( without apply changes) because the activation time still reflects the last configured time, which might not be applicable. So, I prefer to click on apply with a new start time or, incase if i like to use the same then apply the old setting and activate !

Using XP Home with SP2 - If I shutdown with TA running the Desktop hangs after a few seconds and the only way to get to the save settings shutdown screen is to right click and exit TA from Sys. Tray.

I've tested it a few times... :)

Hmm....let a few users report this one. If it is reproduced with others I would investigate it. I dont have access to XP Home.
