There are plenty of commercial programs that have this feature, but it's not something I need often enough to warrant paying for.  If anyone knows of a free for commercial use tool that will work, please let me know!

Living Room / Re: In-car GPS
« on: December 23, 2008, 01:22 PM »
I just got my wife a Mio Moov 310.  It was only $140 at Fry's.  I've read one or two bad reviews on it since I got it and this is my 1st experience with a GPS so I don't know how it stacks up to other GPS units.

Pros: Big Screen, Real Time Traffic Alerts (which can be a big time saver, spoken street names (it garbles a few, but overall, it prevents you from having to look at the screen), pretty good UI - several different view of your route, favorites, pretty good listing of nearby points of interest.

Cons: Sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to find your location.  It seems to lag a little behind your actual position.  For example, it will say 'In 100 feet, turn left' while, or slightly after you have already made the turn (is this common)?

I'm quite happy with PyScripter.  It has most of the features you want (no code folding yet) and it is pretty small, 8MB.

Screenshot Captor / Blurry Image
« on: July 01, 2008, 07:14 PM »
I created a screenshot and then I added some arrows and text to it.  For some reason, when I saved the image, the arrows and text were blurry.  :(
I tried doing the same thing in Snagit and the output wasn't blurry.

Also, I couldn't figure out how to resize the canvas (so I could add the text outside of the screenshot), so I pasted the screenshot into Paint and then opened that in Screenshot Captor.

It sounds great!  However, I don't actually care about the folders per se.  However, I want to do something similar.  I would like all of the subfolders in my Games start menu to have the actual icon for the game.  I've done this manually for many of them and it is a pain as I have over 50 games installed.

General Software Discussion / Re: Do you use Desktop Widgets?
« on: November 05, 2007, 01:05 PM »
I used to use Yahoo Widgets for the 1 Widget I really like (Sys Monitor) but since I had to minimize all the windows to see it, I switched to TrueLaunchBar.  It's not quite as pretty, but I can dispaly anything I care to see.

LaunchBar Commander / Announcement mailing list?
« on: October 19, 2006, 12:59 AM »
It would be nice if there was an announcement mailing list, so I could be notified of new versions.  I currently (for the past 8+ years) use PowerPro, but it has such a hideous scripting language, that I would welcome a contender.
