The better synonym to antonym to the term "Human" ?

Any better suggestions
than i think i have been knowing earlier ?

I would now ask the members of the forum to consider this matter closed.

Then how will the primates learn
~the better way to handle Gri's posts~ -

by Safe Moving of the posts to other separated topics,
including gritoadmixes,
with the topic identificators
differing from the identificators of the original topics
borning the eccentric Messages of the Mind ?
Not of Human Mind only.

In general, the Logical Integrity of a Human posts
                is dependent on monkeys' Stupidity.

And then - where will i be getting the Attention of the primates
which i am fully dependent on ?

this is on purpose?

To accelerate the Evolution of primates -
place the code of your replies
on the remote forums of the distributed discussions,
but with the quote headers in global format,
for example:

Quote from: gri
along with the global quoting feature.

Then you will sooner discover the purpose -
Human discussions are possible
on grivitational forums only.

DC's move thread doesn't break the quotes though

It is because Move Topic does not change the topic id in message link.

Split and Merge topics - do change topic id
and do break grivitoniks, if they were used.

if you move the post that is being quoted,
the link should be broken
(I'm not sure, though).

Should be broken ? Why ?
It should not. But it _is_ being broken, unfortunately.

To check whether the link will be broken
it is enough to substitute the original topic identificator in the link
to another one, any.

In the sample link
http://www.donationcoder....16974.msg290716#msg290716

replace "16974" with, say, ~7104~.

Then on donationcoder.com forum
the changed link will lead to the topic 7104 where the original post is absent.

On grivitational forum such changed link
would still lead to msg=290716
regardless of topic id in the link.

Gri, I would be glad to answer to you,

Do you have your own forum ?

ps.
The donationcoder forum is inappropriate for placing of the posts
because of the several reasons.

One of them is a combination of two circumstances -
the forum software version 1.X being kept by forum administrator
under the refuse of the forum administrator
to install the grivitational mods.

In result, the link of the message in default format
leads to inoperability of the link
after moving of the linked message
from the original topic to another topic.

Version 2.X allows the operability of the short format of the links
by default, which is indifferent to moving of the posts between topics.

The probability of the forum version upgrade
is much higher than of the event of grivitational mods installation.

That's why i am forced to choose the short format of the links
in the headers of the quotes in my posts.
They will become operable automatically after the version upgrade
or after the installation of grivitational mods on 1.X,

but now they are inoperable,
thus producing inconveniences in moving along the vectors
of logical relations between the posts (grivitoniks)
and the members' ~huhs~.

The incoming edge of the mentioned logical vector,
incoming into the post with a quote, -
i named grivitinik.

While there may also exist the outgoing grivitoniks -
grivitoutiks.
When the suggested direction of moving
is from the distributed posts with a quote -
to the original post walking in the Space of Grivitational Universe.

I would prefer to move two messages from a thread to another thread.
Is that operation laborious?

The grivitiniks in the quote header will be destroyed
without ~Freedom of Moving Thoughts~ mod installed.

which monkey continue removing my topics at donationcoder ?
11  News and Reviews / Official Announcements / Re: Upgrading the forum tonight to SMF 1.1.2 - Possibilities of minor turbulence on: March 07, 2007, 05:47:28 AM
When I upload using ftp
it uses permisions 755 (owner rwx and group/other are r_x) by default,
which is fine for all folders except the attachments and uploads folders,
which need to be world writable.

Hence, probably, after i will convince you to use Package Manager..
you will not be able to.

Which directories of SMF you name as "uploads folders" ?

Any smf modification may want to upload new files
to any subdirectory of smf forum structure.
Hence Package Manager should have been empowered
to chmod directories to 770 at least.
But it fails on a free hosting.

Particularly, /Package/temp subdirectory is being created
inside the procedure of mod installation.
In result no files can be even extracted
from the mod packet to /temp subdirectory
                              to be executed.

On some hosting servers - Package Manager can chmod the /temp folder
and chmod the Uncompressed files to "770",
but on the other - can not.

What is the difference between hostings ?
Paid and free is one evident difference.

But what is the difference between server settings ?

"755" default permission is not enough for mods installation.

One can chmod /temp folder to "777" manually
and the Package Manager will proceed to..
but it is only the illusion.
The files extracted have mostly "640" permission (rw_ r__ ___ - not executable)
                             or "644"
and are not being executed.

How can a user of the hosting account
change the default folder/files permissions settings of the server ?

.. so that the newly created folders/files
were already allowed for Writing/Executing accordingly.

Anybody ?

Let me give some guidelines on how i upgrade smf,
since it's a bit unusual and it may help others.
And in the process i'll answer gri's questions.

So to answer gri's question about how do i set permissions and create directories -
for smf installation i do it all from the FTP client.
(i've been trying SecureFX recently but any one will do).

Certain directories like the attachments directory need to be made writable by all
(right click on the folder and chmod to +777 or +w for all.
I think smf will alert you if you haven't done this properly.

You do not need anything special as far as a control panel or special database access -
it can all be done through a normal ftp client.

I understand clearly why you have no time
to think about human modifications of smf forum..
and participate in smf forum humanization
(including the ignore mod installation).

Nobody will find Truth

False surrounds Truth.
Truth Source is inside False Stratifications.

Well, I have changed the subtitle of my previous post
so to help you to abstract yourself
         from your false technology peculiarities..
on this stage of short conversation.

I have located my previous post in this your topic
because there is no other place at your forum
                            and on the planets
                   known to me
for my public posts adressed to you.

As far as I can see (from your signature)
you have neither your own toogrik
         nor the gritoadmix board
    at donationcoder forum.

Both your the first (maybe the only) toogrik
     and my toogrik..
that one which I would like you to reply me personally to -

are located at the grivitational forum
which was evidently suspended (together with its server as a whole)
(hope you guess - by whom..)

and which i am trying to restore now at another free hosting
and upgrade by human set of mods..
                       unsuccessfully.

Similarly my forum gritoadmix board
is not appropriate now for the dialogues -

until i will find out (with your gracefull help including)
how can a user of free hosting account
overcome the obstacles of smf upgrading
          and _automatic_ modification
               through Package Manager.

Only after elimination of these obstacles
my appeal to humanize your upgrade technology
     will become grounded.

mouser,
Can you please answer my previous post questions
               more directly ?

It will help others.
13  News and Reviews / Official Announcements / Possibilities of minor turbulence on: March 06, 2007, 07:42:01 AM
Also - i do not install any mods using the package manager
for these kinds of reasons -
I install them all manually by manually modifying the php files,
so i never do any install/uninstall of mods.

mouser,

Which Control Panel do you have on your server ?

What file access permissions do

          the created subdirectory,
          the uploaded files,
          the unzipped files

optain on your server

by default ?

Do the default file permissions depend on control panel

or is it the server adjustment only ?

How can a user of the hosting account
    change these server settings ?

I'm upgrading the forum tonight,
so please prepare for some minor turbulence
and report any problems..
hopefully you won't notice any downtime
but there is always the possibility
of large-scale catastrophic maelstroms..

mouser,
I seriously advise you
to install all your forum mods
to the test forum 1.1.1.
Then upgrade the test forum to 1.1.2.

Then publish the list of installed mods of the test forum.

We shall see which of the mods have lost the Uninstall link.

If there will be such mods with destroyed Uninstall possibility
then you will be forced to downgrade from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 ..
more than once -

thus encreasing large-scale catastrophic maelstroms.

Thus after 1.1.2 patching over your existing installed mods -
you will be forced to uninstall manually
                       almost all of them
to return back the normal operability and support level
                    of your forum.

I am searching for a not SMF

For example, such Search-Replacer
should fulfill the operations

It's a wonderful site all about technologically-related art projects
and is updated multiple times every day
with thoughtfull, beautiful, jarring, mind-expanding work
from all over the world.

edit:
having said that. i do like new forms of art
and it looks like that is what gri is doing.
                  so, i've changed my mind.
i've decided i like the 'artist' that is gri
and the new internet artform that it is practising.
