Thanks for the suggestions Oshyan.   I will look into them and decide if it will work for me.

I was hoping to just get away with some software that would do this on the fly for me though.  I can use my audio recording software to do it, but setting things up through that often take a long time to get working properly without audio loss due to the way the plugins were originally written.

Perhaps this is just too complex for the Coding Snacks arena.

yeah, was a long night last night  :P

No, I have a few animations that I am working on that I want to add differing voices to and I don't have the vocal talent to do so.  I am making some children's animations and my voice is a bit tooo deep to pull of a child's voice per se :D

I am lost on that one superboyac...  been a long day I guess.

I downloaded that app to try it, but it claims I need to download "ther virtual driver"...  what virtual driver?

as far as I can tell, I have no clue what virtual driver to install so this software is a bust for me.  Thanks for the find though!

Post New Requests Here / IDEA : Voice Changing Application {VCA}
« on: April 19, 2011, 09:03 PM »
Greetings everyone!

Well, the title primarily says it all.  Essentially I am looking for some software that would allow me to change the pitch, timbre, frequency, vibrato, tone, anything and everything in regards to the voice.  I am not adept at programming, one day when I have spare time lol, but I hope that someone here will be able to help me with this request.

Something that would allow one to change the gender, species { alien, fairy, leprechaun, etc }, tone, and pitch of ones voice, either through sliders or numerical inputs would rock. Also, the ability to use it for Skype or video recording software would be nice too.

Hopefully this post is not too disjointed.

looks good.  One minor note might be to lighten the text as the background darkens?

Also, is there a size restriction on that image, or can we make it smaller if we want to?  I feel that it is rather large, but then again I am on a small screen Tablet PC.

Didn't your mom ever teach you it wasn't nice to use your middle mouse button? :P

I thought it was just me.  Glad to hear that there is a fix on the way!

Markham: interesting that some people get the UAC trouble and others don't...

I get the UAC alert, but then again I put it to run as admin.  I later went and modify the folder for Trusted Users Full Control, yeah I know.. I need to just mod the ini file, and CD works fine.

But, I do place myself in the "above average" user so...

couple of things:

what OS?

If a newer windows, have you tried running as admin, or even better installing the app in your user directory?

. I want to say: ring 1 has 3 icons, ring 2 has 5 icons, ring 3 has 10 icons etc.

Sounds as though we have a chemist in our midsts ;)  well, not the exact electron ring count, but that would be aninteresting adaptation for CD.  Make the images like an Atom.. hrmmm.....

Hope it works!  I figured out that my problem with the CTRL key was due to the fact that I had the CTRL key setup as a trigger for showing CD.  I tookthat off and my CTRL key is working again...

Next step...  multiple instances....

Archon,  I had the first problem as well on Win 7 x64.  I went to my folder and gave "Everyone" full control.  Not the wisest method, but it is working without a hitch now....   welll....  sorta.. I don't think win7 really likes it that much.  Mine keeps me from being able to use the CTRL key o.0

Got bored today at work and had murder on my mind...  well.. almost...  I am not yet done with it, but for the power tool fans out there here is a saw blade for your background.  I still need to add some text to the blade, and then splatter it with blood for a more sinister approach.

[edit] added a 1% transparent circle to the center[/edit]

well, here is a quick background I made for an oriental feel.  it is 800x800. I have also added a center button to go with the background.

wow!  I can see that I am going to need to grab that one as well!  I also need to attempt making a few skins for Circle Dock and see how I fare on those...

How did you get that clock in the middle?  Linux only?
