hi there!
i have some more suggestions ...
- you know website-watcher .. i think ... it shows a button on the browser to simple add the current sites .. a button on every app would be nice .. so the mouse-users can even capture without using the hotkeys ... i know the rightclick-thing but a 60 year old guy told me it would be way easier for him and he had a screenshotprogramme with this feature .. i couldnt find it ...
- is it possible to make the programme easy to translate? i'd like to translate it into german .. also for the 60 year old guy ...
an excellent program so far!!
keep going!

Unfinished Requests / Re: IDEA: virtual drive driver
« on: June 27, 2005, 06:03 AM »
well .. this is something like a workaround which might do what you requested ...
lets say the musicfiles are on g:\music and h:\mp3
1. create a virtual drive using "subst.exe" which comes with windows ..
subst i: g:\music
2. create a link from h:\mp3 to g:\music\mp3.lnk
hold down the right mousebutton and drag the folder "mp3" to g:\music
release the mousebutton
select "create link here"
its not very nice ...  but it worked for me ...

Unfinished Requests / IDEA: workgroup/ip-changer
« on: June 23, 2005, 04:10 AM »
i'm thinking of a tool that allows me to have a list of different networkconfigurations ..
profile "work"
obtain ip from dhcp | workgroup is called "business" | proxy xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port xxxx
profile "home"
obtain ip from dhcp | workgroup is called "homezone" | no proxy
profile "dad"
ip is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx | dns is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx | workgroup is called "work" | no proxy
that would be great!

call me dumb .. cause i am! .. all i wanted was to add a path like "c:\program files\mplayer" to windows path so i could run mplayer from anywhere through cmd.exe .. and now i "discovered" the command "path" .. a bit of experimenting with it and then i got it .. i added the path by simply typing:
path "c:\program files\mplayer\";%path%
thats it .. thanks to autocompletion that was not so much writing ..
god damnit ...

13
1rst boot: timer shows up on the top left .. move to bottom right .. hide/show timer works .. close/open dydlo .. still in the bottom right ..
2nd boot: timer shows up on the top left .. move to bottom right ...

14
works! .. the last thing i want is that the timer remembers its position ..

15
well .. what i know is that we have "alarm" for litestep ... dunno if you are familiar with ls ..

16
well .. i've testet *all* the freeware .. the trials .. and the best tool is definitely http://www.wysigot.com .. they have a freeware and a pro version ..

17
i've added a picture that shows you what i mean .. and i've put dydlo into the autorun and it won't remember it's previous position ..

18
BUG: the timer appears when i'm online .. BUT it keeps counting the seconds ..

19
i'm just testing dydlo .. works perfect .. as long as you dont pull the timer above the startmenu .. my dad wanted the timer to be ontop of the startmenu but if i move it there and click on the starmenu the timer is behind it .. maybe you can fix that ..
but everything else seems to work ..

20
an app that adds a specified folder to windows path so it can be run from anywhere .. maybe a commandlineapp like:
add2path.exe "c:\program files\dydlo\"
or even add the function to the explorerrightclickmenu so that you can simply click on a icon to add the path of the app!

22
yup .. or if you want a minimal shell take GO! ...

23

24
yes .. the icon was red and worked right but no timer appeared ..

25
well .. i'm just testing v.1.00.13 of rasmonitorontop .. but there is still just the little tray icon .. no popupwindow .. i'm on my dads xp-machine right now .. and wondering ..
