Newsletter for March 17, 2006
Codename 'Fancy Forum'

"If you read nothing else on our site, read the newsletter!"

1. The DonationCoder.com Forum Gets a Major Update
We've upgraded the forum software to Simplemachines.org software v1.1RC2, and taken the opportunity to add a bunch of new features:

2. Contests and Giveaways

3. Software Releases
Some minor updates since the last newsletter:

4. New User Mini-Reviews

5. New Coding Snacks

6. Games

7. Other Fun Diversions

8. On a More Serious Note

9. For Developers and Web Designers

10. New Sites and Services

11. Upcoming Reviews
We've got some new big reviews coming up and request your help in making sure we don't miss anything:

12. Current Discounts

13. Coming Soon
We've got some really exciting stuff coming up in April, including:
  • Some great new discounts and giveaways which were organized by fellow donationcoder.com forum members like you, on software forum members have requested
  • A major new programming contest.
  • Our own micro-donation system, to make it easier for forum members to make small donations to other people on the site.

IMPORTANT! Time is Running Out to Join the Site as a Charter Member
The end of March will mark our one year anniversary (hooray)!  After that we will no longer be offering Charter Member accounts at our site.  All donors after the one year anniversary will be known simply as Supporting Members.  So if you want to be part of the founding members of DonationCoder.com, with all the benefits that may entail, you don't have much time left to make a donation before the new changes take effect..  And if you're already a member, don't miss this opportunity to tell your friends about our site!

If you have good ideas about how to improve the newsletter or the site itself just reply to this post.
