Edit:  But speaking of dog slobber, my brother had a Boston Terrier who was telepathic.  When he wanted to lick your hand he looked up at your face.  If you wanted your hand licked he would do so.  But if you didn't he would put his mouth near your hand and just lick his lips.  Sort of like a "Hollywood Kiss."

This is not a new idea. Back in 2008, Burger King released Whopper-scented cologne.

To twist it around another way, at many fairs and seaside resorts it is considered haute cuisine to cook things in beer.  So why not just crack open a beer and smear it all over yourself? 
( Edit: Deozaan it didn't occur to me until later this reads like I am suggesting you personally should slather beer upon your person.  I meant fad follower people generally.  )

Perhaps it will keep the mosquitoes away?    (  Edit: Not likely.  More likely to attract black flies  )
