Eheh.. There simply isn't a way the "simple" mode could be simpler..

Great work!

I like this new version!
I already have a sticky note to make the portuguese translation

Good morning Mouser,
I'm still LEARNING to use your URL Snooper.
Think I've v2.05.01, so should I download your latest v2.06.03 -- esp. since you have a "simple" mode ... perhaps for senior citizens/newbies like myself. Do I just download and run it, or must I first UNINSTALL the earlier version?

BTW, is there a Real Player to WAV converter (rm to wav) available on DonationCoder.com's web site? Or, can you kindly recommend an EASY to use program?

Bless you and all at your end for your 'unique & generous' spirit/concept.

"Warmest" regards from tropical Malaysia where I'm now residing,
RK Wright

just install new version over old version, no need to uninstall.

An update: I have received french and german translations for URL Snooper so these are no longer needed; other languages still needed

I will be posting the french and german ones soon, with much thanks to Lapinbleu and Joto!

Love the new features, but when i right click to copy the url's the menu seems a little "slow on the draw".
If that makes any sense,i'll throw up a screencast if need be.

mouser · « **Reply #7 on:** May 12, 2006, 04:04 AM »

a little screencast would be helpful.

tinyvillager · « **Reply #8 on:** May 12, 2006, 06:05 AM »

It does work, but not as fluid as it once was imho.

http://screencaster.googlepages.com/snooper.html

I've tried without screencasting,so it's not other resources slowing it down, hmm,i do not know.
It just seems i have to click on the url several times to get a response.

mouser · « **Reply #9 on:** May 12, 2006, 06:08 AM »

ah ok, you are saying that sometimes when you right click it doesn't trigger, is that right?

tinyvillager · « **Reply #10 on:** May 12, 2006, 07:42 AM »

Exactly

I right click and the context window with my options seem reluntant to make an appearance.

mouser · « **Reply #11 on:** May 12, 2006, 08:02 AM »

ok i hear ya; i'm using a new grid component and it must have bug with right-clicking, or some bad interaction with dragging; i'm on it.

tinyvillager · « **Reply #12 on:** May 23, 2006, 12:34 AM »

Strange behavior...

This never happened with older releases, when the files pop up,their appended to donationcoder's domain.

This screencap will explain better.

mouser · « **Reply #13 on:** May 23, 2006, 12:45 AM »

it's trying its best to figure out the domain they are coming from based on traffic;
it can get confused if there is lots of different traffic going on simultaneously by different programs.

tinyvillager · « **Reply #14 on:** May 23, 2006, 12:56 AM »

okie doke.

jgpaiva · « **Reply #15 on:** May 23, 2006, 01:14 AM »

I support this "bug", i also had the same problem yesterday.

mouser · « **Reply #16 on:** May 23, 2006, 01:54 AM »

i'll look into it and see if i cant improve it;
basically in the past when it couldnt find a domain, it just left it as a relative link like
/e1/nc/.....flv

now it tries to guess the domain, but it's not very smart; i'll try to improve it.
