Thanks sri!

...Oh la la! This is actually a bug! I just fixed it. Now the shown folder sizes are updated on the fly when any byte down in some subfolder is added or removed. If that's all you need...
xyplorer has this feature BUT it's not quite usable yet imho, because it doesnt transparently scan and update folder sizes in a background thread the way dir opus does. ...

i'd like to see it do folder size reporting like dir opus: basically the program operates entirely normally and with no waiting, but in the background when you are in a folder it starts calculating and displaying folder sizes..One question: if the list is currently sorted by Size, how does DO achieve the correct sort order before it knows the folder sizes?

Thanks. Sounds natural. And, BTW, not so extremely "seamless"...QuoteOne question: if the list is currently sorted by Size, how does DO achieve the correct sort order before it knows the folder sizes?it loads them alphabetically first & then sorts them acording to size - this can take a while if the folders are very large

Thanks DonL. Kindly include these two features. The day that's done, I'll buy your XYPlorer.Hi Sri,
Breadcrumbs feature is self explanatory. ...

DonL: I tried the latest beta (5.10.0032) and see that the auto remember only works partially.Sri,
Watch this screencast to see what I mean.

Just to let everyone know: XYplorer 6, with customizable keyboard shortcuts (Zaine must be over the moon!) is out. Check it out here.Yep, and it's great!!

BTW the xywiki looks interesting as well, but it loads excrutiatingly slowly (I've had to hit reload three times when it was stuck at between 95 and 100%).

or press ALT + F12 if you're a keyboard junky

I'm always happy to learn about keyboard shortcuts.Well, then here's your next lesson: goto http://www.xyplorer.com/support.htm and download the XYplorer Cheat Sheets!

If XYplorer ever gets dual-pane viewing DOpus will be very seriously on the ropes...
