Strange... I just don't get why the images won't show up for you. ...

Using Extreme Picture Finder, I managed to find 87 large picture files at cid=2 and cid=2&p=2 , but there are 94 thumb nail links!?

However, I have still not been able to find any large pictures, using IE7, FireFox 2, Maxthon 1.6, Aaron's WebVacuum, Internet Image Browser, or WebSucker. I have (of course) no understanding of WHY some will and some won't. The new download links gave me nothing: the server was not available, the various Internet browsers said, or they claimed the file was empty. I have tried many different ways to do it.

Being a man, and a single one of the kind, I would of course very much like to also have the large size pictures of Keeley Hazlle and 1712, [attachimg=#] , but these pictures too seems to "contain errors"...

Lashiec · « **Reply #126 on:** November 01, 2007, 05:20 PM »

Hmmm, they don't contain a single error up here

(God, I finally found a message to use the eusa_dance smiley

).

That seems like something wrong with your connection settings, Curt.

Curt · « **Reply #127 on:** November 01, 2007, 06:07 PM »

So you were able to watch the pictures I was linking too.
Hmmm... [wink] ... so where are they then ? [/wink]

- sorry, but I would STILL like to have these two pics as well...

Keeley Hazlle and 1712

I have uninstalled several addons, disabled many others, reinstalled this and that,
and still I cannot access these pictures. I am totally in the dark, on this.

Edit: removed a confusing picture (viewed 83 times!).

[attachimg=#]

Er... they both opened fine on my computer. Thank goodness my wife wasn't around

(Curt, you rascal!

).

Here's the direct links to the wallpaper of Keeley Hazell ...and the other one

I still don't have the slightest idea as to why it won't work for you browsing the gallery, but I've gone over it scanning the http headers step by step and there is nothing wrong on the server side...so I'm not sure there's anything I can do about it

Thanks a lot, Dirhael

On another topic: "curiosity killed the cat" I wrote, on another DC thread, because I and many others were trying to open an empty file, though we were told in advance that it was empty. Seems like something similar is happening again... :

[attachimg=#]

Sorry, the fault is on my side!

Ok, so a new...ish desktop again. Pretty much the same layout, just a different look. Felt the need to put summer behind me for now

55^o ?!! ~~Celcius or Fahrenheit?~~

Edit: I realize 55^o Fahrenheit is merely 13^o Celcius, so I take it of course is Celcius
- so forget my silly question - I could have checked before showing my ignorance

- it is just that after 6 hours my CPU is 43^o, so I thought 55^o was a lot!

Josh · « **Reply #141 on:** March 23, 2008, 07:27 PM »

It could be just a weather monitor ;-)

PhilB66 · « **Reply #142 on:** March 23, 2008, 07:42 PM »

It's RMClock showing CPU Core Temp (mentioned in the "My Taskbar Notification Area Competition")

Not excessively busy nor absolutely minimalist. Sufficient is the name of the game.

Josh · « **Reply #144 on:** March 23, 2008, 07:59 PM »

Then yeah, 55 does seem a bit hot although I remember my old Athlon 1.3 getting up to 70 at full load.

TucknDar · « **Reply #145 on:** March 23, 2008, 08:03 PM »

Yes, i too think 55 is a bit too hot, so after taking the screenshot I started updating my system beginning with BIOS.

Currently at 46, so hopefully it's a bit better now.

Since we're on the subject, this is a laptop and I wonder if it's normal that the laptop gets a little hotter than the desktop computer?

Yes, I'm using LiteStep. The bar at the top there, is PowerPro, though. Just started configuring it

TucknDar · « **Reply #147 on:** March 23, 2008, 09:51 PM »

about the temperature again, not that anyones interested, I'm sure... uh, well I think I've got some dust in the fans. Thanks for your mentioning this, or I probably wouldn't've dug around so much. Now I know that the dust can be easily removed from my laptop

back to topic...

TucknDar · « **Reply #148 on:** April 13, 2008, 11:58 AM »

Still OT, but cleaning the fans really made a difference... from 55 Celsius to this:

Haven't posted in this thread for months, so I figured it was time for an update

This time, it's my Vista setup:
