Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition is free on the Humble Store for the next couple of days.

Must redeem the key on Steam before May 23.

Quote from: https://store.steampowered.com/app/275390/

*** Please note that the ‘Super Turbo Championship Edition’ of Guacamelee! is an updated version of the previously-released Guacamelee! Gold Edition. ***

In other words, if you already own Guacamelee Gold Edition (as I do) then this is still a "new" offering that may be worth claiming.

So this is strange. Jalopy is free on Humble Bundle for the next couple of days (1day 22hrs at this point). When you redeem, you get access to the DRM free download. But you have to pay $1 to get the steam key.

That's to cut down on Steam Key re-selling fraud, I guess.

After watching gameplay, I wasn't prepared to even spend $1 on a steam key. Maybe it gets more interesting. But the Let's Play on Twitch was more boring than watching paint dry.

Yeah... It definitely looks like a niche game.

Nice

I remember the first Freespace game had cool music, so while I am terrible at those 3D space games, I'll still get it so I can extract the soundtrack xD

I wonder if they'll ever have any GoG Connect offerings again...

GOG is also giving away The Witcher: Enhanced Edition here: https://www.gog.com/gwent-welcome-bonus, but in order to be eligible for that giveaway, you need to have GWENT: The Witcher Card Game in your library. It's their Free-to-Play card game. So you could think of it as two giveaways.

And now for something a little different.

Linus Tech Tips built a console-sized PC and loaded it up with the top 500 best-selling games from GOG.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZNLCzL1WAg

They're having a giveaway, where you could win the PC with all the games included:

Not getting that here, maybe geo-specific?

Make sure you're doing it on Wasteland 2 Director's Cut.

4wd · « **Reply #97 on:** December 15, 2019, 06:36 AM »

@Deo: Thanks, for some reason the DC version wasn't showing up when I tried it, go away for the weekend and return ... and it has appeared.

Another 48 hour GOG giveaway: Postal 2

Postal Classic is also free - ~~this is permanent (I believe). I'm not sure if this being free is new or if it has been this way for a while.~~

Per GOG: "From now on you can also get the first part of the POSTAL series for free on GOG.COM, this time permanently."
