It appears to be the silly humor - post 'em here! [warning some NSFW and adult content] thread started by f0dder back in February 2009. Over 672K (and counting) views plus over 4K replies. I think that's a record!

... 161 pages - definitely

I like the ones with pics posted, generally.  The ones where misspellings change the sense of the item reminds me of the Tonight Show routine where viewers supposedly submit funny blurbs.  I know Jay Lenno carried it on after Carson.  I haven't watched the new Tonight Show.  But I doubt they throw popular bits away.

My two notetaking threads are #2 and #3!  woot!
i must be a little obsessed.

what a weird world we live in.  I've had more "conversations" with people here than with most people in my local life!

If they have stats on repeating yourself I'm probably at the top.  I tend to hammer the same complaints/observations.  My NY resolution should be to move to new vistas instead of 1360x786.

I used to be in the top 10, but then I had to start spending my time trying to earn a living.

But I did manage to solve over 30,000 support tickets since September 2013.

That's worth a honourable mention itself

Good grief!

That would make this my 12,000th post!

You can have my 3rd place. You deserve it for that amount of call volume.

My having a job that requires a lot of sitting around and waiting for something has a lot to do with the amount of posting I do. Most of my work consists of problems that average 10 minutes or less to fix remotely - and then two hours or so of watching and making sure nothing else is about to break.

That's a lot of thumb-twiddling time.

My brother worked in DEC support.  He liked to play chess against the computer to pass the time.  But back then there was stuff like CompuServe rather than the web.  Probably not so cheap to post.  Besides, unless he needed an answer to a problem he told me he liked to stay in "read only mode."
