This is really good. A restaurant finds out why they keep getting bad reviews for being 'slow'.

It's all an image, so no quotes. Once you get to the part where you find out why they're slow, you'll either laugh or cry.

[edit] took the liberty of also adding it to the timelapse videos thread [/edit]

Do you think I would get more traffic through here if I put a link to here in Silly Humor or are all the people interested in these things already here?

I think there's value in at least trying to separate "interesting stuff" and "silly humor". I for one am prone to silliness attacks! So I'd want the "interesting stuff" to be more straight-man educational, and then "silly humor" is our brilliant take on the various "longest threads" that a few forums do. I am also known for taking a few legit thread posts and re-posting silly one-off spins on them in silly-humor, just to get them out of my head. But I think I value "interesting stuff" more, when I want to actually want to think and explore.

Listen to the 'Star Spangled Banner' with a rifle as the instrument

It was a bit hard to search.

Here's an alternate link that worked for at least me.

Is this the greatest 2nd Amendment exhibit ever?

And I'm kinda interested in the tech behind it.
What can get shot at and makes musical notes instead of getting pulverized?

Granted I'm a dog person, but...

Cats are selfish, unfeeling, environmentally devastating creatures.

So... Cats are really more like people - Sounds like a better match to me.

Besides if they've been "killing billions of birds every year"...and we're not showing any signs of running out of birds - which we ain't - It kinda sounds to me like they're holding down the balance rather nicely.

they miss out on possibly the most relevant difference here:
cats are loners, dogs are pack animals.
Dogs respond to their 'owner' as the leader of the pack (then again, with some owners, this doesnt quite work as it should...).
Cat's dont see you as an owner, nor as a leader.

Yes, but that sort of grounded practical information is to hard to sensationalize...which seemed to be a rather strong undertone in the article. IMO as an entry piece it did nothing for the sites credibility - Kinda gave it a two headed space baby feel.

I bet it appealed to some people. Do you think it's popular on Facebook or Reddit?

Freemason, Rosicrucians, clones of ancient Egyptian pharaohs, aliens, weaponizing the orbit around Earth, and a lot more!

Yeah, it's a lot of fun!

If you want to listen to it as a podcast, you can download it then convert it with RAT.

Unwrapping Lollipop: Ars talks to Android execs about the upcoming OS  Ars Technica

The Droid Turbo smart phone, a Motorola-made Verizon exclusive, offers an appealing all-star collection of today’s most advanced smart phone features, including a mammoth battery that will allow you to watch the entire six-film "Star Wars" saga with power to spare, the company claims. The phone is quick on the charge, as well. If you find yourself with a near-dead battery, you can resurrect it with up to 8 hours of talk time with just a 15-minute recharge using a USB 2.0 adapter.

Droid Turbo speeds onto the scene with a near-immortal battery

A victim of a domestic abuse attack managed to covertly alert the police to her appalling predicament by pretending to order a pizza.

The unidentified victim ordered a "large with half pepperoni, half mushroom and peppers" from a 911 operative who was at first baffled and believed it to be a prank call.

Thankfully they soon realised the severity of the situation and sent police to the house in question.

The full call went like this...

Don't try ordering a pizza from DonationCoder though.
