Codecademy: Interactive website to learn programming.
« on: August 22, 2011, 03:13 PM »
Codecademy looks to be an interesting website for learning how to code. It has an interactive "shell" built right into the site to allow you to code as you are given instruction.

Looks pretty neat.

They should say a little more clearly that though the concepts are very general, the language you will be using to learn is javascript.

They've added HTML/CSS, and have plans for adding Ruby and Python, and actually have http://labs.codecademy.com/ where you can already use Ruby and Python.
