Mouser: Count me in on the 4 pack please - if there is a copy left

mouser · « **Reply #26 on:** August 23, 2010, 08:09 PM »

i think i may have to hand over these donations to another dc member to buy the worms pack.. a certain unnamed DC member (cough cough JOSH) tricked me into thinking that worms was playable already and so i bought my single copy.. now i don't think i can buy the pack. anyone else willing to buy the pack for a group?

cthorpe · « **Reply #27 on:** August 23, 2010, 09:14 PM »

I can buy it once we find enough members and the money is in my paypal account.

mouser · « **Reply #28 on:** August 23, 2010, 09:21 PM »

sounds good, next group of 3 send your money or credits to carl.

cthorpe · « **Reply #29 on:** August 23, 2010, 09:34 PM »

Alright, Ampa is in. Now we just need two more...

cthorpe · « **Reply #30 on:** August 25, 2010, 03:59 AM »

Looks like no one else is interested. If we don't get 2 more by tomorrow evening it might be best to just buy individual copies.

PM me if you want in on the 4 pack.

if no one else speaks up ill just send you the money for the other 2 slots and we can keep them in reserve until people speak up.

If you own the game, you can install it and play it now!

...Except steam bombs out with "cannot contact the steam network, please try again later". Yay.

Bummer. It worked for me on my first try. I'm at 45%. Just keep trying and you'll get it eventually.

mouser · « **Reply #35 on:** August 25, 2010, 07:38 PM »

got it, and it looks great.
now who wants to host a game?

Deozaan · « **Reply #36 on:** August 25, 2010, 07:53 PM »

Weird. It seems artificially limited compared to past versions. You can only have 4 worms per team, and only 4 players/teams in a game.

And the GUI looks overly huge, even running on a 22" monitor at 1680x1050.

Deozaan · « **Reply #37 on:** August 25, 2010, 07:58 PM »

Okay I'm hosting a game.

iphigenie · « **Reply #38 on:** August 25, 2010, 08:46 PM »

I'm soo tempted but I have so many unplayed games...

Ampa · « **Reply #39 on:** August 25, 2010, 09:14 PM »

Just had a fun game with Mouser and Deozaan - game is a bit rough around the edges (I managed to crash not only Worms but the Steam platform too), but I am sure Team17 will roll out the fixes.

Anyone have a place in a 4 pack?

I have sent a PM to cthorpe.

Thank you.

cthorpe · « **Reply #41 on:** August 26, 2010, 01:10 AM »

Check your PMs. I have 2 left.

Gimpymoo · « **Reply #42 on:** August 26, 2010, 01:44 AM »

PM sent

Do you have the games "in hand" or waiting for the correct number of people before purchasing the pack?

Deozaan · « **Reply #43 on:** August 26, 2010, 02:31 AM »

Carp! I scheduled an event for some game time in Steam and then 5 minutes before it started my internet died on me and it was down for hours.

cthorpe · « **Reply #44 on:** August 26, 2010, 02:51 AM »

Alright people, 1 more copy available. PM me if you want it. I purchased the pack already, so you will get the pre-release extras.
