the answers to your issues:
1)
- I have not been able to figure out how to Export to SVG. Please direct me!
Edraw products don't support SVG format.
2)The advertisement in the giveawayoftheday is our commercial activity; the user could only activate the license code yesterday. You could register your product anytime.
- Are there any differences between my "normal" copy of Max 4 and yesterday's giveawayoftheday copy (except for lack of support & updates)?
The license code in the giveawayoftheday is only for personal, not for business.
The people use the license code is only for one computer, and they have only one time to activate the license code. But you could use both in your office and your home computer.
We don't support and provide updates to that license code.
3)We have closed the user's forum because of the lots of spam. We consider building up it again in the future.
- I think you should think about setting up a user's forum.
Thank you for your suggestion

Exporting to SVG
You can export your document to the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format.
On File menu, point to Export, and click Native SVG.
The Save As dialog box will come up, type the file name and click Save.
Also you can:
Click Save As on the File menu.
On the Save As dialog box, select the Save Type as Scalable Vector Graphics Format.
Type the file name and click save.
Edraw Max V3.3 could export to SVG,
we consider add this function in the next version.
I've been a long time fan of Edge Diagrammer since it's early days. It's no where near as bloated and complicated (or powerful if you want to think of it that way) as the big guys, but it is for me much easier and funner to use, and so perfect for when i just want to do some quick sketching of an idea.Mouser, I just have to give a big thanks for recommending Edge. Whew, what a breath of fresh air among the flowchart programs out there! Over the years, 99% of the time I have found that all of the other softwares I tried were way too complicated. Like Visio, they are a pain to use. This Edge Diagrammer is so refrshingly simple. Oh man, what a relief. Even little things, like the way objects line up automatically are way easier in Edge than in Viso. In Viso, things NEVER line up the way you want it to when you use the automatic alignment while dragging. Things are always wanting to line up where you don't want it to. Stupid stuff like that makes a program painful to use. I'm sure there's a way to get it to work the way I want, but it should be default.
