I wonder what happened to support for this plugin?
The links for support and homepage do not connect.

Still works it seems. (A screenshot capture just for the web.)

Anyone know? Just wondering...

Screenshot Capture by mouser and Snagit are plenty to work with.
Just was looking for a toolbar for Firefox to include Snagit, but couldn't find it.
But I came across this little dude.

(hate to post and run but I gotta go to work, will ttyl)

I'm not in competition Snag-It costs $36, but FireShot costs nothing.

Seems more advanced than the extension I use, perhaps it's worth checking out.

Can't even remember what the extension I use is named, heh (on a laptop right now), but it used to require Java and be slow & sucky, until it started using the Canvas object, after which it went snappy and useful and no-nonsense ^_^

NO Java fortunately

mouser

Thanks.

nice to have you here, fireshot.. and yes, thankfully no Java

The one I'm using is Screen grab!, works for me (sucked when it used java, since the runtime takes a while to start up, but recent versions support gecko canvas).

If you need a bit more than just capturing the screen, then fireshot might be a better solution.

Yep, yours does seem to offer a lot more features, but generally I just need to snap a page

I'll check out FireShot though.

The Firefox Extension for SnagIt is a convenient toolbar that you can add to your Firefox browser for easy access to the most popular screen capture and sharing options for Web page content. Whether you want to capture a scrolling Web page, need specific text or image or a specific part of a Web page, this toolbar gives you one-click access to all of your favorite features right in Firefox.

Thanks sri, I'll check it out!

And Thanks for responding fireshot, that is cool!
