Our very own mahesh2k has started a blog called Mintcamp, where he intends to post interviews with developers and web designers.

Quote from: Mahesh

Ok just wanted to let you know my purpose behind the mintcamp is to let world know there are talents out there which is not noticed,so mintcamp will continue to put light on such talent.

So far he has interviewed Sash (of SkyIDE) and me.

He plans on interviewing any developer or web designer that will sit still and allow it, so if you have any suggestions, let him know who you'd like to hear about next.

Oh...and if he asks you if YOU would like to be interviewed, don't be shy...he doesn't bite.

EDIT: mahesh2k has moved the interviews to his other blog, Onecore: http://www.onecore.net/category/interviews

Very nice

I'd love to see an interview with Skrommeland Wordzilla and some of the other mystery coders on dc.

mouser, don't try to turn the attention directed towards you! Although I'd like to see Wordzilla there

Thanks april for the thread but i was actually keeping it secret till this month

I wasn't aware it was supposed to be a secret. I showed it to mouser while I was trying to talk him into saying 'yes' to being interviewed, and he demanded I post about it and give you some publicity.

I am sorry if you were not ready for that yet. You didn't tell me to keep it a secret.

mahesh2k · « **Reply #7 on:** August 09, 2007, 09:08 AM »

That's okay april.

I created mintcamp to put spotlight on such talent spread out over entire internet.Atleast some people will get good publicity for being active behind good communityforum /project or software/design etc.

Thanks all at DC for Giving me a chance especially (April & Sash).
I was rejected by many authors like techsupport alert,Mouthshut CEO etc.But i'm not giving up i will keep on digging for talent.

Anyway any suggestions, questions or flames.Keep them up.

Skrommel interview!

Deozaan · « **Reply #12 on:** June 01, 2008, 07:26 AM »

Skrommel is obviously a traitor to programmers!

Quote from: http://www.onecore.net/skrommel-%e2%80%93-1-hour-software.htm

Q. Any advice you’d give to new programmers?
A: Get some sleep! And a girlfriend!

Everybody knows that programmers wouldn't get anything done with sleep and a girlfriend!

Weeeeell... I actually get more stuff done when I'm spoken for >_< - one of the reasons I went single again was that I didn't have enough time for coding. And now that I have the time, all I do is sleep

Great interview!!! It was really nice to hear about his programing backround; but I loved the personal touch. It gave the interview a more rounded view of Skrommel...he has a personal life

. That is usually what is missing from other interviews I have read on other sights.
