That's a great design! My compliments to Nudone

I love it!

Notice how in the 2nd image it appears Cody's coffee has gone cold.

No wonder he fell asleep -- he forgot to drink his coffee!

Now I'm stoked!

I want one of those mugs. That's an awesome design. I'd even be willing to pay for a t-shirt like that.

Since over 15 people are participating by releasing a new program, I'm confirming now that we are ordering the NANY mugs.

For everyone who posted a program, please submit your shipping address here:
http://www.donationcoder.com/Scripts/MemberKit/index.html

And make sure you write: NANY MUG in the optional comments field.

please also write "dont need kit" if you already have received a silly member kit from us and don't need another.

The first batch of mugs has been sent.
Can I request that next time all of you people living outside the united states please fly in to pick up your cup from me in person - the international air mail shipping is a killer!

Sorry to hear that!
In these cases, we should pay the international shiping

nah - i think we just better make the prizes more valuable next time, so at least the value of the prize exceeds the price of shipping! or perhpas next time i will send them via boat with a 4-6 week delivery time.. i just couldn't bare to have everyone wait that long..

mouser · « **Reply #11 on:** January 05, 2007, 07:15 PM »

addendum -
please don't take my post the wrong way - it brings me great pleasure to be able to send these out all over the world.. i get a smile just thinking about people opening their packages. that's why i couldn't resist sending them nice fast airmail.

and when you think about it, it's kind of magical that you can send something so far for such relatively small amount of money, so we shouldn't be complaining.

also always remember, these things are all paid for by the donations to the site from normal people who have chosen to support the site, so thank you to everyone who has supported this site. and of course we owe thanks to cody and his owner nudone for the images.

HEY!
Please let us know when you get your mugs and if you like them. better yet, take a picture of yourself in front of your computer with the mug and post it here

Yeah, I guess

Gonna have to learn how to code by then... Wonder if anyone's in need of a program that says "Hello World!"?

Check with the SETI folks. They may know someone.

If you start now you could have one killer app in a year - even with no experience. The idea is the hardest part.

It would be nice to have another Pythonista here on DC. Take a moment and head over to...

How to Think Like a Computer Scientist: Learning with Python

If you go through that book from start to finish between now and December 31, 2007, do all the exercises and send them to me, I will commission a Limited Edition DonationCoder - Pythonista Edition coffee mug from Mouser and Nudone and send it to you! In fact, I think I will put this in the Python Programming School topic and extend it to all DonationCoders if Mouser OK's it. Of course, I will reserve mug #1 for you, TucknDar.

JoTo · « **Reply #19 on:** January 14, 2007, 01:47 PM »

Just got Mousers parcel with my two Cody Mugs in it.

One for me and one for my buddy Rambo that helped me with my N.A.N.Y. app "MusToe" contributing ideas, graphics and betatesting.

We both LOVE the Mugs as you can see on this photos:

JoTo and his Mug	Rambo and his Mug

Thanks to mouser for the great N.A.N.Y idea and all his effort.
