(Defend the) Final Fortress - Flash Game of the Day

[mouser]

This game isn't new, but it's one of the best of its genre (defend-the-fortress).

That was a nice little game... not something I'd spend $15 on, but the demo was a nice stress reliever, even if a bit on the easy end

I agree with f0dder.

I didn't like how my paycheck went down when I went to a new phase. :-( But by the end with 4 SAM sites, 3 Bio cannons, and 3 turrets, plus auto-repair and faster movement of my regular cannon, I was unstoppable.

[f0dder]

I got all the main-cannon upgrades, 1 bio cannon, 3-4 sam sites, and turrets for the rest... with all those turrets and sam sites I only had to focus on shits; it was actually a mistake to buy the BIO-cannon

You mean ships, right?

freudian shit >_<

You mean Freudian Slip, right?

[f0dder]

Argh >_<

But yeah. Those di... cannons worked very well

Ended too soon for me. Ah well. I did play that other "fortress" game a few months back for like 2 hours and got really ridiculously far, but there was no end to it which was kind of annoying. You need a balance IMO - to be able to reach the end, but not too soon. I know with this one they're trying to get you to buy the full thing though.
