Amazing VR setup for R/C airplane
« on: September 25, 2006, 03:00 PM »
Simply beautiful:

Link: Google Video - Golf club Royal Bromont

A wireless camera is mounted on a tiltable stand on an R/C plane.
The video is fed to a VR headset, that also control the camera motion.

Bye!

Excellent choice of music too, seems so surreal.

That's awesome! What a great home-build. It wasn't totally clear if the guy uses this *while* he's flying, or if he has someone else fly. It seems like it would work equally well for either though. Great stuff.

No, he is flying it that way. There are other videos that show that clearly.

Bye!
